Actress Kyeon Mi Ri steps up to clarify all the issues regarding her family to protect her daughter Lee Da In whose about to get married to Lee Seung Gi.
On February 17, Kyeon Mi Ri together with her legal representative clarified everything that was accused of her family.
According to the legal representative, the false information surrounding Kyeon Mi Ri and her family has reached a point where they can no longer overlook it and the actress will clarify everything and will take legal action against all the fake information that was spread.
First of all, Kyeon Mi Ri clarified the Bota Bio stock scam issue between her and her husband. The actress shared, “I am accused of gaining money through false disclosure, but I have never used the fund for myself and even for my family. The minority shareholders at the time sued my husband, who was running the business, in a legal case for losses brought on by accounting fraud, but he was found not guilty.
The actress also opened up about the popular JU case, a pyramid scheme wherein 110,000 people were affected and over $1.5 billion cost for damage wherein she is also involved. Kyeon Mi Ri clarified that there are a lot of unfounded rumors regarding the issue. She revealed, “I am also a victim of this. I did not receive any payments for the items I delivered. I also joined the event in the hopes that I can still get my money back.”
The legal representative also clarified the wealth of the family. They shared, “Kyeon Mi Ri and her family are being accused of enjoying money through criminal means with no guilt and having an expensive house in Hannam-dong. The house they are staying in was built through the hard-earned money of the actress for more than 30 years in the industry. They also warned about the false articles, blog posts, and videos that were uploaded. If it is not corrected or deleted, they will officially take legal action.
In their last statement, the legal representative apologized for conveying the rumors once again. They also revealed that they will no longer tolerate the rapid spread of false information that is affecting the family and their loved ones. They reiterated that they will strictly correct and respond to the issues.
