WOULD YOU RATHER #19 RESULTS

Both of last week’s choices were selected with adrenaline junkies in mind, and based on the comments section, I think it’s safe to say that most of us prefer to live vicariously through our K-drama leading men and women. It also appears as though there are a lot of acrophobic Beanies — what with 73% of the vote opting to build and drive fast cars. And I’m one of you! I’m the type of person who gets nervous standing on a chair, so like @toomuchtv, I would prefer to have my feet safely on the ground.

Of course, even if you aren’t someone who fears heights, parachuting into work is extremely impractical and pointless, just as @redfox pointed out. And that’s assuming you don’t land on the incorrect building, in a body of water (@jerrykuvira), or North Korea (@midnight). If it can happen to K-drama chaebol heirs, then it could definitely happen to us, right? Best case scenario, according to @marysadanaga, we show up at work soaked in “terror-induced sweat.”

So, with that said, I’m among those who decided that it was safer to build and drive fast cars — even though I’m also not someone who particularly enjoys driving, especially if there are other cars on the road with me. This round of Would You Rather seems to be another case where the majority voted for what they perceived as the lesser of two evils. Unlike @welh640, who was eager to build and drive fast cars, the rest of us leaned into the practicality of the engineering profession and of driving. And for those of us who were a bit nervous about the idea of driving “fast,” well leave it to @lordcobol to find the loophole and point out that we don’t have to drive the cars fast.
