TVING x tvN’s O’PENing series drops posters and airdates

TVING and tvN are preparing the way for seven weeks of their short-form drama showcase O’PENing 2023, and after a wave of initial press announcements, we now have posters and air dates for the dramas in the series.


Summer, Love Machine Blues
Airs: July 16
(PD Yoon Hye-ryum / Writer Lee Choong-han)
Go Soo (Missing: The Other Side 2) and Arin (Alchemy of Souls) form a unique friendship in this road comedy.
 
Walk
Airs: July 23
(PD Noh Young-sub / Writer Chun Se-eun)
Grandpa Lee Soon-jae (Family: The Unbreakable Bond) has to walk his dog, and it looks like Lee Yeon-hee (Race) will be around to join him.
 

Summer Cold
Airs: July 30
(PD Jung Jong-beom / Writer Seo Hyun-joo)
In the melo-romance of the series, Eom Ji-won (Little Women) risks her life to protect Park Ji-hwan (Our Blues).
 
One Reason We Can’t Meet
Airs: August 6

UEE (Ghost Doctor) and Kang Sang-joon (Bora! Deborah) are newly single in their thirties, and have to deal with dating again.

Don’t Press the Peach
Airs: August 13

Jung Yi-seo (All of Us Are Dead) meets her deceased mother’s old love Choi Won-young (Under the Queen’s Umbrella) while managing her shop.

Described as a fairytale, ten-year-old Park So-yi (See You in My 19th Life) discovers the trapped six-year old Ki So-yoo (The Good Bad Mother) and helps her explore the world.

Airs: August 27
This two-episode story follows shooting athlete Bae Kang-hee (The Glory) who tries to make a comeback seven years later.
 
The full season for O’PENing 2023 will be released on TVING’s online platform on Thursday, July 13. Episodes will then air once a week on tvN on Sundays.
