Alongside Lee Jong-won (The Golden Spoon), Kim Sang-joong (The Banker), and Lee Ki-woo (Miraculous Brothers), the comedy-sageuk will be airing weekends, starting January 12 in the new year. [MBC]

  • Ahn Eun-jin (My Dearest) is considering an offer for All Shall Come True (roughly translated), potentially joining Kim Woo-bin (Our Blues) and Suzy (Doona) in the main cast. • The first poster has also been released for KBS’s fictional sageuk Fantasy Sonata, where our shadowy hero Park Ji-hoon (Weak Hero Class 1) commands the throne. But with two souls inhabiting his body, it’s not yet clear who the true victor is. Also starring Hong Ye-ji (2037), Hwang Hee (Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938), and Ji-woo (The First Responders 2), the webtoon adaptation will be launching this January. [News1]
  • As we finally (!) head into premiere week, JTBC’s Welcome to Samdalri came out with another feast for the eyes teaser, where we follow our heroine Shin Hye-sun (See You in My 19th Life) as she finds her way back to Ji Chang-wook (The Worst of Evil). Taking over the weekend slot now that Strong Girl Nam-soon has finished its run, the friends-to-lovers rom-com begins in just four more days on December 2. [Newsen]
