• Disney+ announced that Uncle Sam-shik will be releasing this year, lining up the great Song Kang-ho (Cobweb) in his first drama project, in addition to Byun Yo-han (Mr. Sunshine), Lee Kyu-hyung (May It Please the Court), Jin Ki-joo (My Perfect Stranger), and Seo Hyun-woo (Celebrity). Taking place in the stormy 1960s, the period series is both written and directed by filmmaker Shin Yeon-shik (Cobweb). [News1]

• Jung So-min (Alchemy of Souls) has confirmed casting for tvN’s Mom’s Friend’s Son, acting opposite Jung Hae-in (D.P. 2) in a friends-to-lovers rom-com. • Hong Jong-hyun (Race) is reviewing an offer for Coupang Play’s new melodrama What Comes After Love, potentially joining Lee Se-young (The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract) and Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro (Dr. Chocolate). • EXO’s Suho (Behind Your Touch) will be acting in a sageuk rom-com for his next drama, starring in MBN’s The Crown Prince Has Disappeared (working title).
