Hernan informed Marina he has a surprise for her, he tells her they are getting married, she tells him she can’t and asks him to take her back home, he gets violent, takes the baby from her and threatens to throws the baby in the sea if she doesn’t agree to marry him, Marina begs him to give her child back to her, she finally agrees to marry him but she asks him to hand over the baby to him first, he asks her to sign the marriage certificate while he holds the baby, she signs the paper and take her child from him, Mercedes and Jose finally made it to the hospital, Mercedes is still unconscious, Jose also faint at the reception, Marina tells Hernan she can’t believe he used her daughter’s life to blackmail him and call him crazy but he tells her she never appreciated his feeling and tells her they will be happy just like a normal family, Magdalena informs Rebeca about Mercedes and Jose accident, they both decide to go to the hospital, Hernan happily celebrate his marriage, he reproaches Marina for taking his love for granted, always running to him whenever she fights with Damian.
Marina says she has always told him the truth that she doesn’t love him, he get angry and asks her to go inside, Damian and his crew have seen the Yacht. Damian decides to use a small boat to get into the yacht, Hernan, the captain and the minister make a toast to his marriage, Damian swims and finally catches up with them, he sneaks inside and sees Marina crying, Marina narrates to Damian what happened and begs him not to confront Hernan, they try to escape but Hernan sees them and point his gun at Damian, the crew are worried because Damian is keeping too long, Marina begs Hernan to put the gun, Damian and Hernan get into a fight, Hernan shoots him and he falls in the sea, Marina attacks him and he slaps her, he asks her to control herself and warns her not to provoke him, his captain informed him Mercedes didn’t die she was rushed to the hospital, Hernan threatens to hurt his daughter if she doesn’t keep her word and behave like his wife, the crew sees Damian’s body floating on the sea and Lolo start crying, Oso asks them not to panic.
Marina cries and remembers all the good time she spend with Damian and cries over his dead, they pull Damian out of the sea and perform CPR on him. Damian finally wakes up, Rebeca cries beside Jose’s bed, she begs him to wakes up and tells him how much she loves him, Hernan tells Marina that the baby is his, he wants to spend more time with her so she knows her father, Marina tries to hold the baby but he refuses, Fulgencio is informed about Mercedes’s condition, Hernan and Marina comes to the hospital, Rebeca tries to take the baby from Hernan but he refuses and ordered his chauffeur to take the baby home, he also informed them he has already made arrangement with a nanny to take care of his daughter, Rebeca are Magdalena look surprise when Marina agrees with Hernan, Hernan asks her to give them the news, Marina informs them they got married today, Magdalena and Rebeca look more surprised, Delfina searches through Fulgencio’s document, Damian is taken to his bed, he is panting, the crew decide to take the bullet out, Marina and Magdalena watch Mercedes through the window glass from the intensive care, Marina tells Magdalena she feels bad for rejecting Mercedes for so long and now she is scared she won’t get the change to apologize to Mercedes, Magdalena says their mother is very strong, she will make it.
Claudio joins them and confesses his love to dying Mercedes, Marina and Magdalena are surprise to hear him, the doctor informs them that Mercedes needs blood transfusion, Marina and Magdalena volunteer to give their blood, Claudio tells Mercedes to wake up because her greatest wish as come true, her two daughters accepted her, Rebeca and Claudio confront Hernan about his marriage with Marina, he tells them Marina is his wife and her daughter his is child he doesn’t care about what anyone has to say not even Damian, Marina wanted a simple wedding, so he decided to surprise her by having their wedding on the yacht but assures them they will have their church wedding soon, the doctor informs them that all is set to start the surgery, Fulgencio shows up panting asking for Mercedes, everyone is surprised.
