Bridges of Love Episode 100
Marilen is worried that Carlos will come home drink again, Gael asks her to go and rest, because it is late and offer to stay behind and wait for him but she thinks it will be better if they all wait for him. Mia commits her mother’s health into the hand of God, as she prays for her mother. Gael wakes up and notices that Manuel is cooking; Manuel tells him it is for Carlos, Gael decides to help him. Carlos is speed driving late at night, blowing horns as if it was an emergency, he feels dizzy and crash into a lamp post. Alexa and her thought, she is lucky she got a man like Abner to always listen to her. Carlos finally comes home but without the car, Manuel asks him about it and he tells him he left it, and then heads towards his bedroom. Gael asks him not to worry tomorrow he will talk to Carlos, the most important things is that he is home. Tres says Carlos may be doing all this on purpose; Gael taps his shoulder and tells him they should be patient. He admits it is a bit disappointing, but this is what Carlos wants to happen, he wants them to give up to him, but they won’t satisfy him, and asks them to be more patient and suggests they go to bed, but his phone rings. The police calls to inform him his car hits the lamp post and wants to know who was driving. He hesitates then tells him he was, and promises to go for his car. Mia watches her mother on the hospital bed and recalls some memories and tells her if she is holding up because of them, they are ok, it is time for her to rest. Her mother lets go of her hand, Mia notices that she just died; she holds her tight and cries. Tres tells Gael; he can feel what he is going through even though Gael doesn’t talk about it. Gael tells him he doesn’t know how to be a big brother to Carlos. He has to fill the emptiness in Carlos, but at times he thinks, it will be impossible to do that.
He understands Carlos; after all he was never a god brother to him. Tres asks him not say that, he knows he is doing everything possible to be a good brother to Carlos, and assures him he was a very good influence in his life. He assures Gael he will be a good brother to Carlos, he just has to be patient. Mia is holding unto her mother’s ashes and cries, her dad advises her to stop crying because her mother would not be happy seeing her in this condition. She might say even though she is dead, she is still a burden. He manages to make her smile, and advises her to keep on smiling because everything should start over with a smile. Lorenzo talks in his sleep, he begs Muloy not to them everyone and start shouting NO NO until Vida shows up and wake him up. Muloy’s wife opens his diary and notices that his handwriting is different from the suicide note the police gave her. She quickly calls Carlos but he doesn’t pick, so she decides to call Gael, to find out about his whereabouts. He tells her Carlos is upstairs and asks her what the matter is; she tells him Muloy didn’t commit suicide.
Eva and Gael go to Priscilla’s house to also check the suicide note. Eva tells her she will investigate the matter, and informs her she will request for Muloy’s autopsy report. Gael asks her not to worry and promises her to find out who killed her husband. Carlos wakes up and sees that Priscilla called him several time, Mia also send him a message informing him her mother is dead. Eva thinks they should inform Carlos about Priscilla’s suspicion but it thinks it is not a good time to tell him because he is going through a lot of stuff at the moment. Marilen informs Gael that Mia lost her mother, and he starts crying, this guy is too emotional. Mia still crying about her mother’s dead, Gael shows up at Mia’s place, he meets with her father, he tells him Veronica kept tells them that he is in love with Mia. Gael was the reason she become closer to her daughter, Gael tells him he knows how important it is to have a family. He suggests they go inside but Gael refuses and asks him to extend his condolence to Mia and leave. Carlos is once again gambling, he decides to leave since he has no more money to pay. A guy stops him and advises he borrows from him to continue playing, Carlos tells him he wants 5 million. The guy agrees to give him and reminds him he is Carlos Antonio, he should make sure to pay him back. Vida wonders what made Lorenzo dream about Muloy and recalls the conversation they had a night before Muloy’s body was found.
