Choi Dae Hoon will reportedly work alongside Park Bo Gum and IU in the upcoming romance K-drama You Have Done Well.
Media outlet Newsen shared on February 28 that Choi Dae Hoon will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming K-drama You Have Done Well. This will possibly be his first K-drama project for 2023.
In 2022, Choi Dae Hoon was booked and busy with several K-dramas and one film. He was part of the series Insider, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, The Good Detective Season 2, and One Dollar Lawyer. He was last seen in the KBS K-drama Curtain Call with Kang Ha Neul, Ha Ji Won, Go Doo Shim, Kwon Sang Woo, and Sung Dong Il.
He also participated in the 2022 film Decision to Leave which was led by Park Hae Il, Tang Wei, Park Yong Woo, Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Jung Hyun, and Jung Yi Seo.
Choi Dae Hoon made his acting debut in 2007. He has appeared in several hit K-dramas throughout his career in a supporting role. He is also known for being part of the series Crash Landing on You, Flower of Evil, Beyond Evil, Racket Boys, and more.
You Have Done Well will be the latest work of director Kim Won Suk (“My Mister,” “Signal,” and “Misaeng: Incomplete Life“) and writer Im Sang Choon (“When the Camellia Blooms” and “Fight for My Way“).
It will tell the romantic story between Ae Soon, a rebellious woman born in Jeju in the 1950s who doesn’t hide her emotions, and Gwan Shik, a quiet character who doesn’t care about romance but changes after meeting Ae Soon. It will showcase their romance in all four seasons.
Aside from Choi Dae Hoon, Park Bo Gum, and IU, Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon will also reportedly join the upcoming K-drama and will act as the middle age Ae Soon and Gwan Shik.
You Have Done Well will be a pre-produced K-drama and is scheduled to start filming next month. The broadcast channel and airing date are still undecided.
