After Gisela has blown the news to Esmeralda that she is paralyzed and will not be able to walk again which is something that Mr. Silencioso has pleaded with everyone to keep it a secret from Esmeralda till she becomes a little bit okay, Esmeralda grows very anxious and begun to call out jarocha and after jarocha entered the ward, Esmeralda asked her if what Gisela said to her is indeed true and jarocha got furious and slapped her and beat her up severely scratching her face.
Mrs. Rita and Chacharas go to the hospital and after seeing Esmeralda so helpless, she tells Chacharas that, she’s now seen that the cards never lied.Lorenza tries to convince Agustin to at least go and see Pablo at the hospital to serve as a consolation to him but still Agustin resists and he tells her that he has already disown Pablo because he sees that Pablo does not even care about his affection.
The Doctor still wants to go on the with Esmeralda’s operation but she feels so scared and happy with life so she ask Pablo to cancel their wedding as planned but Pablo still wants to go on and still marry Esmeralda whether sitting in wheel chair or not because he truly loves her.
Silencioso goes to get coffee and Gisela tries to be sarcastic towards him but he gets hold of her and cautions her not to meddle and fear gripped Gisela. Silencioso pulls her down telling her not to pick a fight with him to let the worse to come out of him.
