Esmeralda tells Virginia that she is definitely going to walk again because she is surrounded by all her loved ones and that gives her strength to carry on. Jarocha tells Pablo that Esmeralda will certainly push through all her predicament because she has always been a fighter therefore she is not going to sit back and allow this problems she is facing to overwhelm her and get the better of her. Pablo says to Jarocha that he really knows that about Esmeralda since he has always known her be an overcomer and so he is going to love her and be by her side no matter what because just seeing her smiles makes him happier always. Pablo tells Silencioso that Esmeralda has invited him for a costume party at the institute and Silencioso tells him though he doesn’t fancy such things but it is sometimes worth it so he can go since the invite is also from Esmeralda.
Gisela asks Agustin to always remember that he owes him a great favor for keeping silence on he being Fela’s lover and kidnapper to both authorities and Lorenza as well and also for cleaning up the mess out from where he kidnapped Fela to prevent the police from having any evidence against him without even his knowing. Agustin then became surprised since he never thought Gisela was the one who helped him to escape the police this time around. A cleaner who is also Gisela’s informant (Mrs. Fidelia) from the institute of disability calls Gisela on phone to inform her about the costume party which will be going in the institute organized by Esmeralda and how she has also asked Pablo to come over to the institute for the occasion and Gisela thanked and after tells Augustin that she is never going to take opportunity to ruin Esmeralda to have Pablo for life. Mrs. Rita and Chacharas discovers a letter written by Fela to Silencioso long time ago and they decide to take it to Silencioso in case it may prove as a be sort of help to him and after they show it to Silencioso, he grows so happy since it is going to testify for him during the court proceedings.
Fela still loses her consciousness and Silencioso tries to make her gain back her senses by reading most of the love letters to her and also takes her to many places where she used to have full happiness but Fela still looks dull but Silencioso tells her that he doesn’t care the number of days she will have her recovery. The costume party is due and everyone gets dressed up for the occasion including Lorenza and surprisingly, Gisela also comes in dressed in the same costume as Esmeralda after drugging Pablo unknowingly, Pablo sees her as Esmeralda since they wore same costume and lured him into bed with him.
