TVING has released still cuts of the upcoming K-drama Island Season 2. The cuts portray the characters Van (Kim Nam Gil), Won Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee), Kang Chan Hyuk/Priest Yohan (Cha Eun Woo), and Goong Tan (Sung Joon).
Kang Chan Hyuk/Priest Yohan (Cha Eun Woo) looks bruised and bandaged, probably from fighting the evil forces to protect Mi Ho.
While Van (Kim Nam Gil) and Won Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee) give serious expressions in the stills. The first season portrayed Mi Ho as a cheerful and kind woman whose life is turned upside down when lust demons start haunting her on Jeju Island. To protect herself from the savage creatures, she hires Van to be her bodyguard.
Judging by the still-cuts and the serious expressions, it looks like Mi Ho’s character will undergo a transformation from a cheerful lady to a more stern and pensive woman, considering she will also discover more about her past life.
Van keeps his usual nonchalant and sombre expression. And we will finally get to see more of Goong Tan in the second season. His character got only a handful of scenes in season 1. Hopefully, season 2 will give a deeper insight into his side of the story.
Where to watch the K-drama Island Season 2?
The show will air every Friday starting from February 24. Its episodes will be available on Prime Video.
Meanwhile, check out season 1 of the drama on Prime Video if you haven’t already.
The television network tvN has also released still cuts of Hong Tae Ra (Lee Ji Ah) from Pandora: Beneath the Paradise. Tae Ra leads a perfect life as the wife of the business tycoon Pyo Jae Hyun (Lee Sang Yoon) and has a lovely little daughter. Her life would be impeccable had it not been for the fact that she cannot remember her past. One day, she regains her memory and discovers startling truths deliberately hidden from her. She then plans revenge on the perpetrators.
The first still cut shows a satisfied expression with a little smile on her face. And the second cut shows Tae Ra doting on her daughter.
However, contrary to the bright smiles in the first two cuts, the third still cut portrays Tae Ra readying for an event, but with a more serious expression and vengeful eyes, almost like she is gearing up for her revenge.
When and where to watch the upcoming K-drama Pandora: Beneath the Paradise?
