  • tvN announced their lineup for the sageuk romance Sejak, the Enchanted, headlined by Jo Jung-seok (Hospital Playlist 2), Shin Se-kyung (Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun), Lee Shin-young (CEO-dol Mart), and Park Ye-young (Summer Strike). Slated to air in January 2024, the historical fiction has PD Jo Nam-gook (The Good Detective) directing with scripts penned by Kim Sun-deok (The Crowned Clown). [News1]
  • With Lee Seon-kyun (Payback) bowing out, production for the mystery-thriller No Way Out has been busily re-organizing and an offer is currently out for Jo Jin-woong (The Good Bad Mother) to step in. Also in talks – for a different character – is Kim Sung-chul (Our Beloved Summer), while the rest of the main cast have already begun shooting with filmmaker Choi Gook-hee (Life is Beautiful) and writer Lee Soo-jin (The Devil’s Deal).   • A new poster and video teaser have been released for Hulu Japan’s Secret Playlist, bringing in the warm fuzzies with a dash of music for Kim Hyang-gi (Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist 2) and Shin Hyun-seung’s (Han River Police) cute (secret) romance. Premiering this month on November 18, the webtoon adaptation is being led by PD Kim Jong-chang and writer Park Yoon-sung. [News1]
  • TVING also came out with a new poster and teaser set, revealing another glimpse of Lee Sung-min’s (Shadow Detective 2) A Bloody Lucky Day when a creepy Yoo Yeon-seok (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3) becomes his taxi passenger. Also starring Lee Jung-eun (Missing: The Other Side 2), Part 1 of the series will be releasing its six episodes on November 24. [KBS]

  • Speaking of bloody, it’s a haunting season for Netflix as well, who dropped a video announcement for Sweet Home 2, along with the first poster. With Song Kang (Forecasting Love and Weather), Lee Jin-wook (Welcome to Wedding Hell), and Lee Shi-young (Grid) reprising their lead roles, the new second season will be kicking off next month on December 1.   • Preparations are also underway for Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature, which will reportedly be launching this December 22. Starring Park Seo-joon (Itaewon Class) and Han So-hee (Soundtrack #1) among other talents, the period action has PD Jung Dong-yoon (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay) at the helm with scripts by the Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim series writer Kang Eun-kyung.   • In a nice change of pace, ENA gives us room for some quiet introspection in their newest character posters for Tell Me You Love Me. The classic melodrama stars Jung Woo-sung (Fly Dragon) and Shin Hyun-bin (Reborn Rich), and will be coming to our screens on November 27.
