Rosario begs Carlos not to say anything to his mother, if not he will break her heart. Carlos doesn’t understand why his mother loves Luis when he only married her for her money. Rosario leaves and Carlos agrees Rosario was right. Telling his mother about Luis affair will destroy her. He however wonders who the woman Luis was kissing is. Marisa is furious at herself; she feels Luis will never forgive her for causing trouble in his marriage. Hernan joins her at the coffee shop and wants to know how the meeting with the lawyer went. Marisa prefers they talk about it later, she prefers to go home. She gets up and runs into a waiter, she makes a scene. Hernan notices she looks nervous and want to know if anything happen with the lawyer. Luis hopes Carlos doesn’t say anything to Marisa. Carolina is worried her parent won’t be attending her graduation. Isabella reminds their father is on honeymoon. Her mother is also busy working in Spain, Isabella promise to be around. Marisa joins them at the spa and Isabella introduces Carolina as her sister. Blanca wonders if the girl Felipe is in love with could be Amelia’s daughter. Sonia calls Felipe and informs him the date for the court hearing is tomorrow. Pedro takes his frustration on the flowers. He is frustrated about the way Amelia treats him and Fernanda. She also made Fernanda lied to him for the first time. Fernando informs Blanca about the accident in the elevator. He Feels Amelia betrayed him when she got pregnant and admit that he really miss her. Felipe calls Camilla to inform her about the hearing date. Amelia prevents Camilla from entering her house; she wants her to stop influencing her daughter. The girl however manages to convince her to let her see Fernanda just for a minute. Fernanda doesn’t understand why there the law suit is still going on.
Camila suggests they call Carlos to find out but before she can make the call Amelia enters the room. She kicks Camila out and convince her daughter to go with her to the hearing tomorrow. She is not to tell her father about it. Pedro suspect his wife his having an affair, she receives a phone and was nervous. He questions her and she told him it was no one. she even asks him to leave so she can pick the call. Fernando joins Blanca in the kitchen and request for a drink. He tells her about the lawyer and mentions his name Luis Montero. He is Marian’s friend. Carlos gives money to a patient to pay for her prescription. Felipe joins him and informs him the date of the hearing has been moved to tomorrow morning. Carlos informs him Fernanda begs him to help her drop the suit. Luis is worried about the hearing and can’t stop thinking about Amelia. He feels life has been so easy for her; she is happily married to a rich man. Amelia opens her curtains curses her miserable life while Luis is having a good life. She feels everything will change tomorrow. Fernanda plays her violin and wonders why her mother is making her lie to her father about the lawsuit. If her he find out, he will never forgive and trust her again. Isabella invites Carlos for a romantic dinner in her house. But before the dinner she wants to know why Carlos didn’t introduce her to Fernanda in the morning. Carlos reminds her he doesn’t want a jealous woman in his life. He doesn’t needs to give her an explanation and once more remind his first love is his profession. Luis returns home and tries to find out if Carlos already spoke with his mother. Marisa tells him yes, about the school girls. She wonder why Carlos is involves in it. Luis tries to make her believe Carlos wants to separate them. She assures him she will never get separated from him.

Fernando recalls the good old days with his daughters. Pedro and his daughter have a chit chat about Amelia way of punishing her. He assures her Amelia loves her though she is some time harsh on her. Blanca enters Fernando room with his drugs, the old man regret forcing Mariana to marry Hernan. Blanca reproaches Mariana for recommending Luis as a lawyer to her husband. Mariana has no regret after all she also deserves a little happiness. Luis will give her that happiness. Isabella brings up Luis Montero, Carlos wonders if his mother has her to do that. He always knows Luis married his mother for her money not love. Isabella hopes he can proves it, yes he can. He saw him kissing another woman in his office but asks her not to tell his mother. Isabella asks him not to blame his mother; she is a woman in love. Isabella suggests he stays over for the night but he turns her down and leaves. Amelia visits Lupe, the only person she consider her friend. She decides to confide in her and tells her about her story with Luis. She tells Lupe Luis is the love of her life, Pedro means nothing to her. She only married him because she was pregnant. Pedro isn’t the father of Luisa Fernanda and tomorrow she is meeting Luis again. She hopes they can get back together. Amelia returns home and meets Pedro waiting for her. He wants to know what is going. He doesn’t talk much but it doesn’t mean it is stupid. They start arguing, Amelia doesn’t owe him any explanation. He knows perfectly she doesn’t love him. She even suggests he leave the house if he feels he can’t take it. Pedro will only leave the house with his daughter, Amelia laughs. Fernanda is her daughter, has he forgotten he is not her father.
Fernanda comes out and sees them struggling. She asks her father to let go of her mother. She wants to know what is happening, Pedro tells her it is nothing. Every couple at time has little misunderstanding from time to time. Amelia tells him not sometime but all the times. She can’t stand him anymore; in fact she is sick and tired of him. She pushes Fernanda aside and enters the room. Marisa requests for some champagne. She asks Rosario to prepare Luis favorite salad. Luis takes advantage and calls his lover to inform her he can’t make it to night but promise to see her tomorrow. She tells him she bought a new dress and wanted to show it to him. Apparently Pedro has been sleeping on the floor for the past 18 years. Blanca wish to visit her family, Fernando knows she doesn’t have any. Of course she has, but he doesn’t believe her nevertheless he gives her permission to go. It is morning; Amelia stands in front of her mirror and tries to apply mascara. I am sure she hasn’t applied any make up for the past 18years. She is worried about her look and appearance but she is determined to convince Luis that Fernanda is his daughter.
