Joana tells Francisca that she needs her support to get what she wants from Onofre. Rosário, dressed in Perpétua’s wedding dress, walks in the forest after Estevão. Joana asks Onofre to help her set up a sewing shop, but he refuses to. João Gutierrez and Mariana kiss. Joaquim tells Pedro that he fears that Manuela will never forget Garibaldi.
Barbara assures Garibaldi that Manuela is more courageous than Anita, who hears him and doesn’t like it. Manuela worries when she realizes that Rosário disappeared and asks Terêncio to go search for her. Maria sends Zé Pedra to find out if Rosário returned to the convent.
