Marina tells damian that she became a woman in his arms, that he is the first man in her life and damian tells him he wants to be the last. Hernan is very happy of have found esthercita because it will be perfect to separate damian and marina. Delfina tells fulgencio that mayuya will stay to live with them, mayuya pretends to be surprised and fulgencio tells them to do whatever they want, he does not care. Ernesto tells hernan that love and kindness are silly things that make people weak, he does not know why he is becoming soft and hernan tells him why he says that and ernesto tells him because things are not going as they planned and that is a sign of weakness and he expects him to arrange his mistakes because he does not want to lose the confidence he has on him and the one who is not good with him can’t expect anything good.
Damian tells eusebia that he is happy because he is going to marry with the woman he loves, she says that she does not want to ruin his happiness but she dreamt that esthercita is alive. Marina happy tells her mother that she is going to marry damian, she says she does not agree on that, she accepted to give some time but not a marriage and much less so fast, they are betraying her confidence. Rebeca tells beatriz that she is not being fair, marina tells her that she is not a child anymore, beatriz really angry tells her that damian has just become a widow and he is thinking to get married because he has no moral, she tells her that she is becoming what all the people in town say, rebeca tells beatriz to realize what she is saying, beatriz apologizes to marina and she tells her that she will never marry hernan and she must understand her love for damian, because heart does not receive orders.
Beatriz says that she will wait the time she gave to damian but if a problem comes up even if it is very little she will take back. Mayuya tries to seduce fulgencio, he is clear with her telling her that he has no obligation with her and he will visit her when he likes to, he is not a fool and that thing of disguising herself as esthercita was a trick to fool delfina and he doesn’t care but that does not work with him. Damian tells hernan that he knows he will take advantage of working with marina to seduce her and he (hernan) warns him that he may do anything, but they will not get married. Damian tells him that his ego damage his neurons and he may do anything but marina will never love him.
Mayuya tells beatriz that nobody in town wants her and her daughter, beatriz tells her that even she dresses up and makes up as esthercita, she is too vulgar and she will always be a shadow, so mayuya slaps her. Marina and damian find beatriz fainted, beatriz tells marina someone slap her and marina tells her that if she wants to leave town, they will go away immediately and beatriz tells her that she wants to leave.
