Damian is found Guilty, riot in the courtroom, his crew won’t let the officer take him away. Fulgencio smiles with hateful satisfaction at the verdict. Judge can’t keep order in his courtroom. Macario tells esthercita that in her condition she should not be drinking but Ernie tells him to allow her to join them in the toast because they are getting married and she is going to give him his first child, for this special occasion she should be allowed, they all toast to Ernie’s future wife and first born. Damian asks his crew to be calmed, he doesn’t want them to resort to violence for his freedom, and he assures them he will be fine. Marina yells at the judge to free Damian that he is innocent.
Fulgencio calls Damian a murderer he claims the owner of the sailboat saw Damian when he was putting the explosive in the boat but Mercedes tells him he is lying that she will find the original proof to prove it. Damian is taken to his cells he and fulgencio stare at each other before he is taken away, before existing he stares at Marina in tears. Hernan get closer to Marina and comfort her, she tells him Damian was found guilty but everybody knows he is innocent. Magdalene walks in the street and fall in Papacito hands, he immediately recognize her because her mother was looking for her, Magdalene agree to follow him since she is hiding from her mother and she is sick too.
Eusebia and Damian have a tearful goodbye, she can’t at peace knowing he is been accused wrongly, he tells her he will be closed to her heart even though he is far away. Damian is sad to see her hurt so much for his sake, he tells her he doesn’t deserve all her tears she tells him any mother would have done same. Rebecca tells Candy that Hernan has been good to Marina in this difficult situation but he tells her he is not to be trusted, they know nothing about him and Bagre once told him Hernan is capable of anything. Mercedes tells Hernan she is aware of his criminal organization, he act surprise and denies she tells him to stay away from her, her packing plant and especially Marina.
Jazmin opens the door only to be received with slap across the face from Rosario, she calls Jazmin a slut, She doesn’t want to hear Jazmin’s explanations, she want Jazmin out of her life and Lazarus’ life, she leaves. Hernan tells Marina about how surprised he was when Mercedes accused him. He tells her that he’ll show Mercedes that he’s not involved with that business. Marina isn’t really paying any attention to him and is tears, she tells him she can’t pretend to be fine anymore, Hernan tells her to accept it and move forward she informs him she can’t, she need to see Damian, Lazarus goes to see Jazmin and Jazmin runs into his arms. They talk about Rosario, Rosario doesn’t want them to be together.
Jazmin thinks maybe Rosario is right and they shouldn’t be together, Lazarus tells her he is sure that when Rosario finds out the truth she will accept their relationship, Jazmin hopes so because she doesn’t want to separate from him. They kiss. Mercedes reproaches Fulgencio for locking up Damian knowing that is he innocent, Fulgencio tells her he doesn’t care whether Damian is guilty or innocent, he is getting back at her for loving Damian father instead him, she is the only woman he has ever loved but Mercedes tells him he is incapable of loving anyone. Doctor Gonzalo discovers the tied up nurse in the bathroom and realized that Magdalene has escaped.
Mercedes and Jose visit Damian in jail, they encourage him not to lose hope, and Damian feel bad that the packing company will be affected due to his absence, Mercedes tells him Jose and Marina can take care of the packing company. Mercedes is informed about Magdalene disappearance, she promise Damian she won’t abandon him and leave, Candy and Rebeca talk about their show. They run into Ursula. Introductions are made. Ursula finds out about the show and wants to be a part of it. All the townspeople are gathered in front of the people station with candle in hand waiting for Damian to be brought out, Damian comes out see the crowd and thanked them for their support Fulgencio arrives and ordered for Damian to be taken away, Marina runs after the truck and yells that she loves him. Damian is taken into the prison, he is given his uniform, and get his hair cut.
