Martin enters the house and Veronica reproaches him for not telling her Magdalena is going to the city. he asks her if she intends to write to her parent to complain. about the living condition in Mina Escondida and tells her she can leave if she wants. she should also remember that once she leave it is over. Upsin separate them. Pablo shows up at the canteen to meet with Don Cresencio. Cresencio asks him what he wants from Ana Perla. Nancyiaga performs some ritual. Veronica comes to shore with her letter. unfortunately Magdalena and Botel have already left.

Emiliano enters the examination room and see Virginia dressing up. he excuses himself and go out, Virginia and Daniel laugh. Veronica comes to the room and asks Nancyiaga to get away from her husband. she reprimand her for trying to kiss her husband. Nancyiaga denies it and tells her she was only applying the leave to cure him. she shows the herbs to Veronica and asks her to go bring more. Veronica runs into Cresencio in the rain. he blames her what happen to Martin. he reprimands her for her provocative dress. she warns him to make Manuel pay. if anything happen to her husband. Veronica brings some soup to Martin and feed him. Martin thanked Veronica for taking care of him. she tells him she loves him and will do anything for him. especially after he told her for the first time he loves her.
