Martin runs into Julio in the street, Julio want to know if he knows about Pablo and Ana Perla whereabouts. Martin tells him no, Julio also tells him he doesn’t know but promise to make them pay. Ana Perla is the only woman is ever loved, she belongs to him. Martin reminds him that Ana Perla doesn’t love him. He agrees but his love and devotion will have made her love him. Martin tells him Pablo and Ana Perla is destined to be together. Julio disagrees; Pablo will pay for what he did. Martin tells him he is going crazy, he won’t let that happen. Julio wonders how he is going to stop him. He takes out the piece of Ana Perla wedding gown. He swears that he will use that same piece to clean Pablo’s blood. Pablo agrees to return to Mina Escondida because Ana Perla is worried about her grandfather’s health. His only condition is that they return together as husband and wife. Veronica agrees to work under Emiliano as requested by Jorge. However this is going to be her last deal in the company. As soon as they are done with the contract, she will resign. Jorge feels offended and asks her not to take it this way. She feels it is for the best. She doesn’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable around. Jorge asks her if it is her final decision. She says yes, she will always be grateful for what they did for her but she doesn’t want to keep on hurting Emiliano.
She doesn’t want to cause him any problem or keeps explaining her relationship. She will let him know when the gold arrived and she walks out of his office. She goes straight to her office and cries, she feel life is ironic. Gaby begs Raymunda to believe her and accept her husband back. Raymunda doesn’t believe her and feels she told her what she wants to be the truth. The whole village is talking about their affair and her father saw them. Gaby assures her it is just a misunderstanding. Raymunda refuses to believe her and asks her to leave her house. She asks Gaby not to worry because she has already forgotten what she did to her. However she thought her not to ever trust Joaquin again. Gaby tells her she has no idea what she is about to lose because of her pride. Of course she does, she will only lose an unfaithful man who didn’t know how to respect her. She asks Gaby to leave her house, and ask God to forgive her. She tells her if Martin and Veronica thought she can easily forgive Joaquin they are mistaken. Pablo and Ana Perla decide to get married in the jungle. He will return and asks Father Juan to come and marry them. Ana Perla doesn’t want him to go because Manuel and Julio may end up killing him. Blanquita advises her mother to reconsider her decision. Raymunda reminds her that as a child she is not supposed to interfere into her parent decision.
Blanquita tells her she doesn’t want her regret later because she chooses her pride over love. Raymunda wonders what she knows about Love. Blanquita tells her if she doesn’t know, her mother equally doesn’t know anything about love. She doesn’t understand how her mother can doubt her father after what they have been through. She believes her mother doesn’t love her family either. She blames her mother for what is happening in their family. The only thing her mother inherited from her grandfather is her pride. On this note she receives a hot slap, Raymunda asks her to keep quiet. She asks her Blanquita to respect her father. Polo hides and witnesses the whole things. Martin gathers his workers to search for the love birds. Manuel swears to get even with Martin just at that moment his friend Juancho joins him. He informs Manuel that La Morenita is about the ship a large amount of gold. Manuel smiles as he already has a plan to get back at Martin. Virginia drops some documents on Veronica’s desk as she longer work under her. Veronica is glad she won’t have to see her very often. Virginia tells her she doesn’t know how to lie. She swears on the death of her nanny that she will send Virginia to jail. She is the only one responsible for Matilde’s accident. Virginia tells her she can’t prove anything especially now that Matilde is death. She blows a goodbye kiss to Veronica and leaves her office. Veronica angrily throws some papers in her direction. She takes her phone and calls the number that called her concerning Matilde’s death. As soon as she realized that the call came from a bar, she hangs up. Now it is Polo’s turn to defend his father, he also agrees with his sister. Raymunda tells him he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Polo agrees that the he is a little boy but at least he remembers all the values that she taught him, especially about forgiveness. He hopes she hasn’t forgotten the speech she gave him before he forgave Manuel. Raymunda tells him things are different now. Raymunda refuses to be convinced and decides to go out. Juancho wants Manuel to tell him about his plan concerning the gold. The only things Manuel can tell him is they are going to be very rich. Gaby goes to the priest to inform him that she couldn’t convince Raymunda that nothing happen with Joaquin. The priest knows nothing happen but he feels it is their fault if the town gossip and accuses them for being in a relationship. The priest asks her to stay in Mina Escondida.
He will find a way to make the children return to class. Joaquin comes homes and rushes to the kitchen to hug his wife from behind. She rudely asks him to let her go. She throws the plate she was holding on the floor and reminds him that she told her it was over between them. Joaquin doesn’t understand it, didn’t Gaby clarify things with her. Raymunda wonders why she should believe her. Joaquin doesn’t know what Gaby told her, but what she said is nothing but the truth. If Raymunda doesn’t want to believe them it is fine. Joaquin tells her she is free to believe whatever she wants. She has no intention of begging her anymore and decides to leave. Pablo sneaks back into Mina Esoncdida carefully avoiding to be seen.
Virginia meets with Veronica’s client for her payment after sending him the information. Martin and Lorenzo continue to search for Pablo and Ana Perla in the jungle. Veronica informs Magdalena about her decision to leave the company after the contract. Magdalena assurers her Jorge will surely come around. She wants Veronica to understand that Emiliano comes first for Jorge. Pablo finally makes it to the church and tries to convince the priest to come with him to marry them. Martin and Lorenzo search to no avail. Lorenzo suggests they go for Father Juan he knows the jungle very well and can help them. Martin agrees and they leave. Blanquita and Polo run into Pablo on his way back to the jungle. He tells them that Ana Perla is fine and informs them about the wedding. She offers to go home and brings some stuff for Ana Perla. Two miners give two bar of fake gold to Manuel. Manuel sneaks into Martin’s office and take their molding. He hears Joaquin’s voice and hides under the desk. Joaquin drops some document and leave without seeing him. Martin and Lorenzo returns to the church and don’t see the priest.
Martin notices that the portrait of San Lorenzo is also not there. Pablo returns to the jungle and gives the good news to Ana Perla. He hands over the bag from Blanquita to her and a crown that he made for her. He leaves the room so she gets changed for the wedding. Crescencio is having a hard time all alone in his house. Manuel enters and tells him he end up death if he continues this way. He informs his grandfather they will soon find a lot of gold. The two of them will be very rich, he is glad Ana Perla run away. The priest shows up for the wedding. They hang the status on the tree and the priest start the ceremony. The priest sprinkles holy water on them. He pronounce them husband and wife and asks Pablo to kiss his bride. Pablo begs him not to inform anyone about their whereabouts. Julio finally locates the cabin in the jungle but too late the place is empty. He takes out his gun and promises to kill Pablo. Virginia calls Daniel to set a meeting so she can hand over the money to him. She needs to get the recording first, if not Veronica will destroy her. Veronica informs Magdalena that she is going to the bar to find some evidence against Virginia. Magdalena suggests she waits for Martin but Veronica refuses. Pablo and his wife return to the cabin and notices that the door is opened. They hide and see Julio coming out with a gun and Ana Perla gown in his hand.
Julio feels they had already left so he decides to keep searching. Pablo suggests they spend the night and leave tomorrow morning to inform Crescencio. Martin and the rest return to the church and the priest makes it obvious that he knows about their whereabouts. Pablo gives back the ring to Ana Perla. The priest denies any knowledge about their whereabouts but Martin doesn’t believe him. Manuel is already making plan against his grandfather. He will manage to make Cresencio trust him. Once he does he will make him regret humiliating him. Same apply to Martin; the priest asks to speak to Martin alone. He confesses to Martin that he knows about their whereabouts and even married them in secret. Nicolas admires Salma in her bikini, he gives her a gift. She wonders how he got to know that it is her favorite perfume. He tells her the fragrance suits her because she is beautiful, elegant and exquisite. She comes out of the pool and spray a little on her neck and asks him if he goes well with her. Nicolas leans against her to smell it. Just at that moment Emiliano walks in and sees him. He angrily pushes Nicholas away and demands an explanation. Veronica arrives in the restaurant and sees Virginia giving a lot of money to Daniel. Virginia tries to hide it when she hears Veronica but too late she saw it.
