What we’re watching (December 16, 2023) MGG

Tell me you love me: I love love how their misunderstandings turn to understandings. I like the slow burn and quiet kindness that they give each other. I really hope he responds well to her confession, even though he probably won’t. I foresee a running scene soon.

The Matchmakers: Noble idiocy, one couple got it right, the other couple well…. I am so glad Soon Gu (she is really the best) was not here for his nonsense. As for Lady Park, I love her. She gets what needs to done, done. Such a well written character.

Moon in the Day: We made it. That ending was weird. I have no idea why I finished it because it really wasn’t good.

A Good Day to Be a Dog: Holy backstory batman. So, he spent thousands of years to get revenge on their doppelgangers. Even though he already got revenge by making them turn into dogs. That seems exhausting and lonely. That us go back to cuteness and cute moments.

My man is Cupid: There are like 5 beanies watching this ridiculous drama about fairies, murderers, pasts lives, and Gods(maybe) that look like Raiden. Nothing makes sense, although Nana is fun in this, but everyone should be watching this, lol.

Soundtrack #2: The scene in her house at the piano was really really well done. The hand grab, the kiss, and the hug. They needed a little liquid courage or to use liquid courage as an excuse, but they got to where they were going. Apologies were made and closure found. Hopefully this is a great new start for them.

Death’s Game: We were so close to me LOVING this drama, but they just had to have the crazy singular tie in, Why? Jang Seung Jo, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Jae Wook, and Lee Do Hyun were all great in their individual lives. They brought their characters to life, no pun intended, for a good time if not a long time. I still like it, but that singular tie in took the wind from beneath my sails, and now it is more like a steady breeze.

The story of Park’s Marriage Contract: This is my happy drama for the week. Lots of squeeing, cackles, and smiles. Tae Ha and Yeon Woo are SOOOOO cute. Their adorable confessions to each other. They way they both light up when they see each other. That oh so heartbeating adorable smile of his when she says something weird. I LIVE. That being said they need to make use of Chef John. Also, Sa Wol and Mr. Hong are equally cute. The way she kissed him, lol, girl… Those Hanboks were also so beautiful. As for hater, jealous, mc-haterson, why is she there, being weird, and inappropriately jealous. That is his wife, leave the man alone, you psycho weirdo.

My Demon: He is finally crushing on Do Hee. Slow and steady he will get there. I care very little about the chaebol politics of it all. Bring more romance.

Welcome to Samdal Ri: Samdal and Yong Pil obviously need to have a conversation about that breakup. Where the disconnect is, idk. However, it is very clear there was no closure. So let’s have the conversation so we can move onto the romance and Sang Do doesn’t get too…
