Would You Rather #4
by DaebakGrits
In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this weekly feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.
Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:
WOULD YOU RATHER #3: RESULTS
Well, I’m not sure if I successfully made the options more difficult to choose from, but the results are closer than they have been in the past. I guess that counts for something! I also noticed a slight uptick in comments that seriously weighed the consequences — both in the real world and in dramaland — to having either face blindness or amnesia.
For those of you whose logic was more grounded in dramaland, like @leetennant, the obvious pick was amnesia because you will eventually reap the benefits of becoming “fake-married to your soulmate while inheriting your doppelganger’s fortune.” Yeah, if that’s the upside of having amnesia, then sign me up, too!
But even if we ignore the infinite K-drama possibilities, there were a lot of you that were extremely uncomfortable with the idea of not being able to see people’s faces. Amnesia, according to @enriquequierecagar and @bekbekzor, would be a lot more manageable once you got used to it. In fact, the clean slate might even get rid of some unwanted memories — especially if you were one of the 70% who, two weeks ago, voted in the Would You Rather poll to dance in front of your crush while wearing only your undies.
However, there were a surprising number of you who either personally experience face blindness or know someone who does! And those of you with more real-world experience on the matter, such as @nejsu, saw amnesia as being — hands down — the worst option, especially since (surprise, surprise) the reality is not nearly as scary as dramas make it out to be.
