Ask God For Forgiveness Episode 1
Welcome to Real de San Andres ranch, workers busily harvest the grapes. Renata enjoys the grapes. They must surely taste nice base on expression on face. Pablo shows up on his horse and eyes her as she walks away with her bowl full of grapes. She runs into her father at the entrance. He reminds her she is not allowed to go out alone. Renata went to get some grapes. Bruno angrily hits the bowl and pours all the grapes on the floor. he doesn’t like her around the workers. She is still young and he doesn’t want them to take advantage of her. Constanza comes out and sees them hugging. She likes seeing father and daughter together and wonders what happen with the grapes. Bruno refers to Renata as her daughter but she reminds him she is their daughter. She calls Macaria to clean the grapes. Renata requests to go to catechism. Bruno agrees but on condition that Macaria comes with her. Bruno warns Macaria not to leave her sight for even a minute. Pablo greets Renata; she pays no attention to him and leave. Constanza apologizes on her behalf and tells her Bruno ordered her not to speak to the workers. Macaria hopes Bruno doesn’t find out they lied to him if not he will kill her. Renata is sure he won’t find out and tells Macaria she is her best friend. Macaria reminds her she is the boss’s daughter she can’t be her friend. Pablo assures Bruno that he is not as useless as he thinks. Renata and Macaria takes different direction, Pablo shows up at the river sand sees her undressing herself to swim. He undresses himself and joins her in the water and they make out. they seat and chat, Pablo loves her with all his heart. He suggests they run away together. He admits he can’t give everything she may need but promise to make her the happiest woman. Renata also loves him too but can’t afford to leave her mother behind with her father.
She wants him to be patient; her father will have to accept that they love each other. Pablo tells her, Bruno will never accept she marries a poor man like him. Her dad thinks the only man who deserve her is Fausto, Renata tells him she doesn’t love him. Fausto assures Helena he will transform her son into a gentleman and tells her he is going to marry Renata. Macaria enters and Helena decides to leave with her son. Macaria tells him she is his woman and he can’t marry anyone. Fausto had no intention to settle down with her, Macaria tells him Renata will never accept to marry him. Fausto cares less about her opinion, and asks her to come with him to the bedroom. She refuses and leaves; she stands at the entrance and swears he will never marry anyone else. Renata and Pablo return to his cabin and make love. Diego returns home and informs his Grandmother Renata didn’t show up for catechism. She asks him to be quiet, and asks him to mention it in front of Bruno. Diego feels Bruno is the only one who hasn’t notice Renata is always not home. Macaria the snitch informs Bruno that Renata didn’t go with her to the catechism class. Bruno takes his frustration on her and reminds her she was supposed to watch over her. Macaria knows but Renata threatened her. Bruno becomes furious and demands to know about his daughter whereabouts. Macaria tells him she is with Pablo, they are dating. Bruno threatens her not to say it anyone and leave with is fusil. Macaria says to herself once everyone knows about Renata and Pablo no man will like to marry her including Fausto. Pablo and Renata cuddle in bed after their afternoon delight. Bruno furiously rides his horse in the bush towards Pablo’s house. Macaria feels Fausta will takes her out of her misery and live like a queen. Her mum with the other maid reminds her Fausta is a womanizer.

Bruno interrupts Pablo and Renata; thank God she is already dressed. Bruno confronts him and tries to shoot him. Renata comes between them and tells her dad she loves Pablo. Pablo pushes her aside and asks Bruno to kill him. Bruno uses the fusil to hit him and falls unconscious. Renata rushes to attend to him but her father drags her away. Macaria hides in the kitchen and witness Bruno abuse Renata. Constanza wants to know what is wrong; Bruno tells her Renata slept with Pablo. Constanza doesn’t believe and wants if he forced her. She turns to her father and tells him she loves Pablo. She intends to marry him, Bruno raises his hand to hit her but she tells him she is expecting Pablo’s child. Bruno points his gun at her and tries to shoot her but her mother comes between them. Pablo’s friend attends to his wound and advises her runs away as soon as possible. Pablo has no intention to run like a coward and leave Renata behinds. Constanza and Renata chat about Bruno reaction when she was born. She assures her daughter that Bruno loves her. Renata wonders why he doesn’t want her to be happy, she loves Pablo. She begs her mother to help her; she doesn’t want her father to kill Pablo. Macaria begs Bruno not to inform Renata about her betrayal. Bruno wants to know how long his daughter has been seeing Pablo. Macaria got to know 3 months ago but they have been together for long. Bruno asks her to get out of his ranch together with her mother. Renata assures her mother Pablo respect her. Constanza disagrees, if not he wouldn’t sleep with her knowing the consequences. Renata once again tells her Pablo didn’t force her. Constanza assures her daughter she is not alone, she will help her. Well mummy will take to town the following day to abort before people notices.
Renata won’t abort her baby, and can’t believe she will suggest an abortion. Constanza doesn’t know how to help her. Renata wants her to convince her father to accept Pablo. Macaria comes and pretend to feel sorry. She informs Renata that Bruno fired them from the ranch. Renata wants her to check on Pablo but Constanza refuses. Meliton assures Pablo he will never be happy if he insists on staying with Renata. Fausta ranch isn’t doing well and his marriage with Renata is his ticket to heaven. Macaria helps Renata escape and advise her to run away with Pablo. Bruno catches her and she asks him to forgiveness. Meliton also advises Pablo to run away before Bruno kills him. Pablo finds out about the wedding and refuses to let her marry Fausta. He intends to run away with her. Pablo returns home to pack his stuff. Bruno shows up and set the place on fire. Pablo tries to escape through the main door but he is unable. Bruno watches the house burns into flames before leaving. Constanza notices the flames and Renata tells her it is Pablo’s house. Renata runs out and collapses when she sees the house has been completely burnt down. Pablo suddenly appear in the ranch with a cutlass in his hand and tells Constanza he came for Renata.
