Mia reminds Dianna she can’t cook; Dianna decides to call Mateo to cancel. She calls and requests to speak with Mateo. Abigail answers the phone they argue until Mateo shows and asks who she is talking to. Abi tells him Dianna his girlfriend, she hands over the phone to him and leave. Helena and the priest chat in his office. She tells him her son is with Dianna and will soon pick her up. Helena tells him she is scared because Abi is in love with her son. Mateo also feel the same thing for Abi but doesn’t know it. The priest prefers Mateo date someone like Abi instead of Dianna. Helena tells him it can’t happen because Fausto is the father of Mateo and Abigail. The priest wonders where she got this idea from. He tells her Pablo is the father of Abigail, she was present at his burial service. Helena tells him it is lie Macaria made up for cover up for the truth. She tells the priest she was home when Macaria brought Abi in her hand when she was just born. She was there when Macaria told Fausto the child is his. The priest assures her Abi is not Fausto’s daughter he wishes he can tell the story but he can’t. Fausto threatens to rape Renata again because he wants a child. Later at night, she decided to use her dressing table to block the door before she goes to sleep. Mateo comes in and inform his mother that Dianna cancel the dinner. Helena apologizes for the argument they had on their way to church in the morning. He tells her not to worry, she is right Abi is like a sister and he is already engaged to Dianna. Helena tells him she has changed her mind and prefers Abi to Dianna. Mateo tells her he is already with Dianna and Abi with Diego. Helena tells him Abi might not be in love with Diego. She advises her son not to rush and marry Dianna if he is not too sure about his feelings.
Mateo assures her he is in love with Dianna and know what he wants. Helena tells him Abi thinks Dianna doesn’t love him. Mateo is Abi has been speaking ill about Dianna to her. Helena tells him Abi is in love with him. Fausto tries to enter Renata’s room and notices it is lock. He opens it and tries to force himself inside. Renata hears it and hides behind the door, he tells her if not tonight. He will surely make her his until she gets pregnant. Renata and Patricio go to the river side. She is very happy to there and even have her leg in the water as they chat. She talks about her sorrowful life, Patricio tries to make her realizes he is in love with her but she doesn’t get it. She tells him he might be a doctor but some wound are not curable. She has made peace with her life, she informs him even the priest advises she work on her marriage. Patricio wants to know if she will, she says no, never. It pains her that she has to live with Fausto until she dies. Lucio and Fausto plot against Macaria. Fausto wants him to tell her the secret about his brother’s death to make her trust him. Macaria wonders why Abi is home and not with Renata. Abi informs her Renata is out with Patricio. Macaria start speaking ill of Renata and even suggest she and Patricio are up to something. Abi tells her she will be very glad if Renata can find love again. Macaria tells her he will never happen. Abi wonder how can be in love with Fausto. Macaria admits he is a jerk but she loves him and hates him. Macaria promise she won’t let Renata have Patricio because Macaria can’t have Fausto. Lucio informs Fausto he got a difficult horse to Patricio to ride. Patricio agrees with the priest and feels Fausto is in love with Renate but she disagrees. Patricio wonder if she never felt anything for Fausto, she tells him she hates Fausto.

Renata begs him not to leave but stay with her, Patricio wants to know why. She tells him because his presence makes her feel secure and begs him not to leave. Mateo wants to know what is happening between Diego and Abi. Diego asks him to rest assures, Abi feels nothing for him. Theodora wonders who is coming over and they bought so many food stuff. Dianna tells her it is none of her business, and warns her not to tell anyone in the street she can’t cook. Lucio goes to Mel for some drug to calm his head. Mel tells him he has to wait because his ingredients are not ready. He advises he talks to someone before he goes crazy. Mel tells him his wife left him because he is destroying himself. Lucio tells him she left and marries a rich man. Mel wonders if he doesn’t think about his son, he is sure he is a grown man now. Lucio tells him the boy has a father now and he loves him. Mel reminds him that he is the child father and asks him to come later for the drug. Mia and Dianna welcome Helena to their home. Dianna wonders where Mateo is, Helena tells her he will soon join them. Dianna wants to know where he went. Dianna don’t worry he is at the river with Abi. She tricks him and throws him into the river and joins him. Lucio calls his wife house and his son inform him his mother is on a trip to Europe. Abi and Mateo swim to the shore and chat about his trip to Italy. He tells her it is a very beautiful place. But he agrees with Abi, it can’t be compare to their village. Mateo wants to know if she is in love with him. She wonder what he will do if she tells him yes. He is going to end his engagement and say goodbye to Dianna. They start arguing and he reproaches her for speaking ill about Dianna to his mother.
It is now Patricio time to tell Renata about his life. Abi slaps Mateo for kissing her and wonder if he thinks she is like her mother. She tells him it is just like his uncle Fausto, and calls him cheat. He takes his shirt and runs after her. Patricio and Renata ride back to the ranch. The horse becomes agitated and throws him on the floor. Renata calls him but he doesn’t respond. She manages to get down from her house and asks the horse to lead her to him. The horse does, she asks the horse go home for help, Mateo sees the horse and decides to follow it. Renata yells for help, Mateo shows and sees them. He examines Patricio who is now conscious. Patricio fractured his leg in the process. Abi returns to her room and recalls the kiss. She checks under her bed and realized her money is missing. Patricio is fine but hospitalized; he assures them he is fine. Abi questions Macaria about the money. Macaria knows nothing about the money, and wonder where her mother got it from. Patricio he informs her he has decided to leave as soon as possible. Renata tells him his absence will affect her so much. Abi informs Diego the money is gone missing, he offers to investigate. Abi wonders why she is not in love with him. He learns towards her and kiss tries to kiss, she hesitates but quickly respond to his kiss when she notices Mateo at the door.
