Bruno meets with Fausto in the bar. Fausta informs him he went to his ranch but didn’t meet him. Bruno wants to know what he wanted; Fausto tells him he already knows. He came to find out about his response to Renata’s hand in marriage. Bruno accepts and tells him Renata belongs to him. Fausto makes a toast and invite everyone in the bar to his wedding. Constanza asks Pablo to leave if not she will call the police. Pablo goes round and yells Renata’s name. Pablo accuses Bruno for burning his house down, he continue yelling Renata’s name. Pablo swears he won’t let anyone come between him and his Renata. Bruno is glad someone of his social status in interested in his daughter. Fausto wonder if he can visit her the following day. Constanza begs Pablo not to commit any crime and wonder if he intends to kill her. Pablo tells her no, unless she prevents him from leaving with Renata. Constanza blames Pablo for what happen; Pablo tells her he loves her. They keep arguing until the servant put the light on and join them. Macaria convinces Pablo to leave the house. She promises to help him run away with Renata but he needs to leave the house before Bruno comes. Meltino and Benito took Renata to Meliton’s house. He attends to her and tells Benito she is out of danger. Benito thanks his Saint for saving his friend life. Mel tells him Pablo life is still in danger. He wants Benito to do as he says he if he want to save Pablo’s life. Mel wants them to lie to Renata that Pablo died in the flames. Benito doesn’t want to lie; Mel reminds him the life of the baby is also at stake. Renata wakes and asks of Pablo; Mel tells him he could not to do anything for Pablo. Renata sobs, she wants to also die. Constanza is worried Renata is not home. Bruno requests for Renata he has important information to tell her. Constanza tells him she is sleeping and prefers he lets her rest because of the pregnancy. Constanza wants to know what he wants to tell Renata.
He tells Fausto asks for Renata hands in marriage and they are getting married in a month. Macaria hides and listen to their conversation. Mel escort Renata to her ranch, Macaria rudely asks Mel to get lost. As soon as he leaves, Renata cries and tells her Pablo is dead. Macaria tells her Pablo is alive, he didn’t die in the fire. He was here looking for her, Renata wants her to swear. Macaria tells her she will help them escape the following day. She tells her Bruno is going to force her to marry Fausto, Constanza joins them and takes her inside. Fausto informs Helena, Bruno agreed to the wedding. He is going to marry Renata in a month. Helena helps him get to bed since he is drunk and takes advantage to kiss him. Renata wants to know if Bruno is really going to force her to marry Fausto. Constanza tells her yes, Fausto will be coming over the following day. Renata jumps out from bed and tells her she won’t marry him. Helena and her son Mateo have breakfast and chat about his father. We get to know that Fausto treats Mateo likes his own son thought he doesn’t get along with his father. Fausto joins them and Helena compliments his look, Fausto hopes Renata also likes it and leaves. Bruno enters his daughter’s room and wants her to listen to him. He asks her to forget about Pablo because he is already dead. He asks her to sit down so he tells her what she is going to do from now on. Renata already knows he wants him to marry her to Fausto. Bruno wants her to understand that Fausto is belongs to the same class as them. Renata wants to know if he knows about her pregnancy, he tells her no. if he knows he will never marry someone like her. He informs her Fausto will be coming to ask for hand in marriage and he hopes she behave well. Renata protests, she will not marry someone she doesn’t love. Bruno warns her she will do as he says, she is getting married in a month times. It is for her own good to make sure they sleep together on the first night so she can cover up for her pregnancy. Pablo reproaches Mel for telling Renata he is dead, Mel did it for their own good. Macaria enters and tells him she already told Renata he is alive.
She lied to him that Renata is waiting for him so they can leave. Mateo informs Diego he will be leaving town soon. Fausto comes and reminds him he doesn’t like seeing him with Diego and asks him to leave. As soon as Mateo leaves, Fausto threatens Diego to get rid of all of them when he marries Renata. Bruno and Constanza welcome Fausto in their house, Bruno as him to feel at home. Bruno is going to serve a drink he reserves for this occasion, he asks of Renata. Constanza tells him she will soon join them. Bruno tells him he already spoke with Renata and she is happy about the wedding.[adinserter block=”10″] Constanza tells him Renata is a bit shy and as such as he should take it easy with her. Fausto promises to make her the happiest woman on earth. Renata joins them; Fausto tells her she looks beautiful. Bruno agrees and calls her his princess. Renata wonders why he called her a slut last night if she is really his princess. Constanza begs her daughter to stop, Bruno warns her to be keep quiet. Renata asks Fausto if he has any idea why Bruno wants them to get married in a month. Renata tells him she is expecting a child of one of the workers. She hopes after telling the truth he won’t be interested in marrying someone like her. Fausto takes his hat and leaves without saying a word. Bruno get angry and slaps Renata, Constanza feels her daughter’s pain. Snitch Macaria runs into Fausto and teases him about the pregnancy. Fausto wants to know who the man is, she tells him Pablo. Fausto feels Pablo is only interested in Renata’s money. Macaria feels he is also has the same interest, she doubt he is in love with Renata. Bruno continues to physically abuse his pregnant daughter despite Constanza plea.
Bruno calls her stupid for disgracing them. he feels marrying Fausto was the only remedy to her situation. Now she is going to suffer for making them look like a fool and to their surprise. He tells her he wished she had died in her mother’s womb, Constanza yells at him to be quiet. Bruno continues insulting her, Renata asks him not to worry, she will free him from the humiliation. She is leaving the house, and runs to her bedroom, Bruno follow her. He tells she has nowhere to go and no one to count on especially now that Pablo is dead. Constanza tells him Pablo is alive, he intends to leave with their daughter. Lucio congratulates Fausta on the upcoming wedding; Fauster wants to know if he knows Pablo. Lucio knows him; Fausta wants him dead, he hopes Lucio knows he pays well for this type of job. Macaria enters Bruno’s office; he reminds her she was supposed to leave the hacienda with her mother. Macaria agrees but Renata, He interrupts her. Bruno knows she was the one helping Renata to meet with Pablo. He asks her to get her stuff and get the hell out of his house and assures her no one will hire them in town again. Macaria feels he should be grateful to her for informing him about their relationship. Bruto get offended by her tone, she calms him down and reminds him Renata confide in her. She proposes alliance with Bruno. Benito gives all his saving to Pablo, he wants them to be happy. Pablo tells him Macaria will make arrangement for the transportation. Mel tells him not to trust Macaria. He gives Pablo something to him for protection. Mel warns him they will be no place for him to hide when Bruno find out his only daughter is gone. Macaria receives her first payment.
Bruno hopes she knows what she has to do and asks her to leave. Bruno tells his wife, he no longer intend to fire Macaria and her mother. He agrees with her that they should not be blame for Renata’s mistake. Constanza wants to know what he intend to do next. Bruno is sending Renata away in the evening. Macarita informs her mother Bruno agrees to let them keep the job. Her mother asks her to thinks twice before helping Pablo run away with Renata. Macaria sees nothing wrong in helping them. Her aim is to make sure Fausto doesn’t marry Renata. She informs her mother she is going to the city with Bruno and Renata. Her mother doesn’t want to be away from her but she is glad her daughter will be far away from Fausto. Constanza object to his decision and doesn’t feel it is appropriate for Renata to leave like a delinquent. Macaria enters Renata’s room and tells her Bruno offered money to Pablo to run away. Renata knows Pablo won’t accept the money, Macaria tells her he did.
