Abigail goes to the river to take a bath, Fausto hides and admires her. Tonio get all dressed for his date with Efi. Macaria asks Abigail for her opinion about the dress she intends to wear to her birthday party. Abigail tells her it looks nice, Abigail tells her she is not the mood for party. Abigail wonder why she doesn’t look like her mother. Macaria tells her because she looks like her father. Abigail wonders why she doesn’t have any picture of him. Macaria prefers to go to bed instead of listening to her and leaves. Fausto refuses to have Macaria dressed as a guest instead of a servant. Renata reminds she is real mother of Abigail. Fausto feels it is right opportunity for her to finally tell the truth. He can’t wait to see the expression on the guest’s face when it happened. Renata doesn’t think it is bad idea after all. Fausto wonder if she thought about Abigail’s reaction. She is mistaken if she thinks Abigail will welcome her with open arm. Renata asks him to wait until the party; she has a surprise for him. Efi tells her sister she feels bad and wants to go to bed. Tonio is already waiting outside, she opens the window to let him sneak in. as soon as he enters they start making out. Renata and Abigail have a chit chat in her bedroom. Godmother assures her she already looks beautiful and doesn’t need to look like anyone else. Renata tells her she might be blind she was present when Macaria gave birth to her. Abigail help her hand and tells her tells everyone is right; she doesn’t look like her mother. She rather looks like Renata and caresses her face. Renata feels it is normal since they spend all the time together. Abigail asks her if it is true she once had a daughter, Renata tells her yes.
She tells her it is a painful pass that she doesn’t want to talk about it now. She will when she is ready but wants Abigail to know that she will always be like her daughter. Mateo, Dr. Patricio and Helena have dinner. Mateo informs her they will be going to visit Renata in her house. They chat about his life and other stuffs. Abigail hides and listens to Fausto conversation with Dianna. They chat about Mateo; he tries to convince her to come to the party. He notices Abigail and hangs up; she assures him she didn’t hear anything. She only came to wish her godmother goodnight. The maid informs Edi s that Efigianna didn’t drink her chocolate. Edi decides to check on her sister since she informs her she wasn’t well. Edviges interrupts them and she asks Tonio to run away. Edviges enters and sees her sleeping, she asks the maid to close the window. She gets to the window and sees Tonio leaving. Helena tells Mateo the doctor is a great man. She feels she also share the same sentiment with him. They both leave with a painful loss. Mateo wonder what he can do to make her happy, she tells him he is her happiness. Helena wants to him to go and sees Fausto; he tells her it is late. He will do that first thing in the morning. Helena disagrees, he tells her not to worry he knows Fausto will be mad at him but he doesn’t care. Macaria joins Fausto in his office and caresses his chest. He informs her about Dianna presence at Abigail birthday party. He hopes she behaves herself. she tries to tell him about Dianna and Mateo relationship but he refuses to believe her. She tells him Mateo is young, handsome and successful he can’t compete with him over Dianna. Fausto threatens to throw her out, well she is not scared. She also threatens to make a scandal and inform everyone that Abigail is Renato’s daughter.

Mateo is grateful to Fausto for helping them but he won’t let him treat them like his workers. He tells his mother Fausto forbade him to have any type of relationship with Dianna. Mateo suspects Fausto is also in love with her, Helena tells him to fight for Dianna’s love. Vicenta tries to convince Constanza to go to church with Abigail and Renata. Constanza would have loved to be with them but she has to keep Bruno Company. Fausto forbid Macaria to sit on the same pew with Abigail and Renata. Efigiana can’t believe they also invited Macaria to the ceremony. Her sister reminds Efi that their maid was also invited. They two sisters gossip about Dianna absence. Father joins them and starts the mass, today mass is dedicated to Abigail. Amanda is back in town and goes straight to church; Macaria drags her out of the church. Amanda came to wish her granddaughter happy birthday. A daughter she stole from Renata, Macaria didn’t steal her. She was forced to register her as her child. She assures her Fausto will never let the truth come out. Amanda wants to know if they are still together, well she left town because Fausto threatens her. She was coward then but she will no longer keep quiet. Macaria won’t let her make lose everything. She reminds her mother that sacrifice and lost everything for the sake of Renata. Amanda tells her she did it for money, after all Bruno and Fausto paid her well. Macaria admit that Renata took the man of her life. Amanda tells her the love she feels for Fausto will be her downfall. She threatens Macaria to end everything or she will do it for her. Macaria wants her out of the town as soon as possible. Lucio goes on Pablo’s grave and informs him his daughter is all grown up and celebrating her birthday.
He feels bad because Fausto didn’t invite him to the party. He forgot he also helped in keeping the secret for so many years. He recalls the night Fausto killed Pablo and drinks more. Mel sees him and tells him the cemetery is not a good place to drink. Lucio tells him he was leaving, Mel invites him to his place but he refuses. Mel reminds him it is not the first time he sees him in this state. He feels Lucio has something on conscience. He wants to know who was buried there; Lucio tells him it is none of his business. Mel knows he was standing on Pablo’s grave and wish he could have done more to help him. The mass is over, Fausto is not happy about Dianna absent. Mateo introduces Renata to doctor Patricio. The commander joins Mel at the cemetery and tells him about the tomb. He wants them to investigate and find the culprit. He suspects it is Pablo’s tomb and Fausto might have killed him. The commander promises to do just that, Mel requests for Pablo’s body after they are done with the investigation. He wants to bury him and ensures he doesn’t lack flowers. Macaria returns to her room and says she won’t let her mother ruin her life.
She goes for the gun, she feels Fausto would have been arrested she is only know where Pablo’s body was buried. Fausto visits Dianna at home and demand to know why she did not show up in church. Dianna prefers to play safe and refuses to also attend the party. Fausto shows her a watch he bought for Abigail. She feels the watch is too expensive to be given to the servant’s daughter. She feels she should rather have it; well he gives it to her. He asks her to wear it to the party; she agrees to attend the party. Efigianna refuses to let Tonio sits with them at the party. Mateo requests to open the dance floor with the birthday girl. Fausto makes his Grande entrance and interrupt the party. Diego also arrive with to mariachi to serenade Abigail.
