Ms. Pierre Calls Gael to meet at a cafe for a meeting concerning the shop, Yolly shows a couple of framed pictures to Marilen and her family and tells them they are pictures of her students, Mia and Ivanka also come to the same café where Gael and Ms. Pierre are having their meeting, as soon as Mia sees them she suggests to they go to another Café, but Ivanka tells her this place is her favorite café and suggests Mia also try it, Ivanka sees Pierre and wave at her, Carlos bodyguards show up and take Mia away, Carlos tries to call Mia but she is not picking, the guards leads Mia outside, she gets angry and asks him to let go of her hands, Ivanka keeps asking what is happening, Carlos decides to call one of the guard to find out where they are, Mia explain to Ivanka that Carlos doesn’t want her to see her ex-boyfriend again, and by sheer coincidence he was with Ms. Pierre, Ivanka asks her if she is going to allow him treat her this way, she doesn’t recognize her anymore and want to know what happen, the guard interrupts their conversation and orders them to go inside the car, he grabs Ivanka’s arms, she asks him not to touch her and informs them she will use her own car, before she can a say word to Mia, the guard brutally grabs Mia’s hand and takes her to the car, Gael and two other guards have a confrontation inside the café, but Ms. Pierre tells him it is worth it, Gael agrees and thinks Carlos should rather be the one facing him.
Carlos orders his guards to bring Mia directly home, he will meet her there, Marilen overhears some of the students at the party talk about JR, they wonder where he is, one student suggests they throw a reunion party, Gael informs Eva about his intention to get bodyguards for his family, Mia tries to explain to Carlos what happen earlier but he tells her he doesn’t care, and asks her if Gael was there, she asks him to listen first but no, Carlos starts with his nagging over Gael pestering her, and informs her she is not allowed to go outside until they get married, Mia refuses and informs him she has already given her word to Ms. Pierre to be present at her fashion show, Carlos asks her if it is her new excuse to see Gael, he orders her to end her relationship with Ms. Pierre because Gael is also working for her, Eva informs Gael she made arrangement for their protection, Gael explains to her what happen with Mia earlier, Lorenzo worries that he might get implicated if Marilen testify, and as a result Carlos will know the truth, Muloy reprimands Carlos for his attitude towards Mia, but Carlos tells him it is for the best, at least he can be sure Gael won’t steal her away, and say she will tell him if she is hurt, Muloy asks him if he thinks Mia is happy about the way he treats her, she might not talk about it but she is hurting, and asks him to trust Mia, she is doing everything possible to make their relationship work, Lorenzo receives an invitation card for the fashion show, he calls a friend to asks for a favor, Alexa also receives an invitation, she thinks it is the perfect time to catch up with Mia, she needs to know who is marrying.
Mia informs Ms. Pierre she can no longer work with her, Ms. Pierre get angry because she has already sent the invitation card, all her client are excited to see her (Mia) collection, Mia tries to explain to her, Carlos intervenes and assures Ms. Pierre Mia will be there, Gael tells his parents what happen at the café, Gael receives a call from Engineer Sebastian De Jesus of Legal Acts Incorporated, he informs him they are designing a 40-story building and he wants to talk to him about it, Gael agrees to meet him, Lorenzo’s friend informs him everything is set, that he fell into our trap, “I guess Gael”, Carlos informs Mia is letting her attend the fashion show so people don’t badmouth her, but reminds her it will be her last show, he tells her she won’t need any of these when they get to the states, she hesitates for a moment and tells him he never mention anything about moving to the states, he asks her not to worry about her mother, she is also coming with them, he had already made arrangement with a doctor, Eva takes Marilen through court procedures, and possible questions that they may ask her, Eva asks her what can she remember about Carlos Antonio, Marilen says before Gael’s accident, she saw him in front of their house, he was drunk, Gael and Manuel look surprise at the revelation, Eva asks what happen next, Marilen informs her she let him inside, Manuel tries to get up from his seat but Tres holds him back, Gael asks her if she really did that
