Gael cries and recalls when he thought JR how to untie the rob, he drops the metal and calls Carlos JR, Manuel wants to asks advises from a lawyer concerning JR case but Marilen tells him to leave Lorenzo alone, if not they may drive JR away from them, Manuel informs her Gael went after Carlos, Tres calls Marilen to inform that Gael asks him to inform the police he is going to Carlos’s place but now he can’t contact Gael anymore, Carlos asks Gael if he now believes him, Gael scratches his head and say nothing, Carlos blames Gael for ruining his life, Gael tries to explain to him why he sold him but Carlos interrupts and says because he was a burden to him, and accuses him of being selfish, all he wanted was to be around him, he wanted Gael to love him as his older brother, Gael tells him things are not like he thinks, but Carlos insists that Gael abandon him, Gael admits he was wrong, and assures him he was always with them and tries to touch him but Carlos pushes him away, Gael tells him to allow him to explain but Carlos refuses, and tries to walk out of them, Gael shouts JR, to stop him, cries and informs him he live his life with regret, for what he did to him, he is paying the consequences every day, but Carlos pushes him and asks him not to take him for a fool, and tries to start a fight but Mia comes between them to prevent it, Carlos tells him he had a comfortable life, he even forgave their dad despite all he did to them, Gael goes on his knee and asks for forgiveness, but Carlos tells him he can’t forgive him.
Gael tells him when they lost him, they also died, because he is part of their life, and assures him his dream to have a complete family has always being in his heart, their mother cried every night when they lost him, she blames their dad, she was so angry with him that she could not even look into his eye, and assures him his dead wasn’t easy on them either, he knows he can’t make up for what he did but he can assures him that he was always with him in everything he did, because they are brother, he knows he has cause a deep wound in Carlos’s heart so if he doesn’t want to forgive him, he understands, but once he knows he is alive, he will do everything possible for them to be a family again, and begs him, Carlos walks closer to him and tells him nothing can be fix and tries to leave, but Gael stops him again and asks him why he hid the truth from them, he reminds Gael that he already killed him, that the only things that matters to him now is Mia, she is the only one who shows him love and care about him, but he ruined everything when he appears, he knows she still loves him (Gael) even though she chose him, and puts up with him (Carlos), he knows it will never be compared for the love she feels for him (Gael), Gael turns to Mia without saying anything, Gael suggests they start over, and try to fix the family but Carlos tells him he is not JR, Manuel Nakpil Junior is already dead, Gael try to touch him but he refuses him.
Gael begs him to open his heart and give them another chance to bring JR back to life, Carlos tells him the Nakpil’s family is already dead in his heart, and thinks it is better they stay as enemy, Manuel and Marilen join them, she calls him JR and cries, Lorenzo informs Vida that the Nakpil already know the truth, she advises him to give up, that it was meant to happen anyway, Marilen tries to get closer to Carlos but he asks her not to, she tells him he is their son, she had always felt it, that is he is her missing son JR, but Carlos tells her he already has a family and it is not them so they should leave him alone, Gael confesses to Mia that he has really hurt Carlos, he had no idea he was fighting his own brother all this time, she tells him Carlos needs him, and cry, Tres and the police show up and Gael informs him they no longer need the police, and tells him Carlos is JR, time for Manuel to also speak, he calls Carlos his son, Carlos recalls all the beaten he gave him, and warns him not to ever call him his son, because he doesn’t have a demon like him as a father, Manuel asks him for forgiveness and goes on his knees, Mia cries and walks out of the scene, Manuel admits his mistakes and begs him a find a place in his heart to forgive him, he has regretted what he did, but Lorenzo used him (lCarlos) for get his revenge on them that is why he hid him from them, Carlos tells him Lorenzo was a better to him than Manuel and walks out of them, they all hug each other and cry.
