Lorenzo starts insulting Alexa, but she reminds him of her position in Antonio Holding, and informs him that she is not stupid like him, who didn’t even realized when they were stealing him right under his nose. Lorenzo assures her she won’t take over his company because he built it, and promises to fight till the last end, she reminds him they are bankrupt, and asks him to leave her Company, she tries to sit but feels bad all of sudden. Gael comes to see Mia as he requested, he sees her going through her box, he hesitates then assures himself he is doing the right things, then goes in to meet her. Gael walks to Mia and asks her for forgiveness, because he can’t keep his promise to fight for her anymore, he tells her a lot of thing happen because of that promise, but he always kept her in his heart, Mia starts crying, Gael tells her she has always been his strength, he cleans his tears and add that his love for her never run out, but now he has to give up on that promise, it hurts him so much to say goodbye to her, to remove her from his heart, but he has to do it, he needs to, and he will do whatever he takes to forget about her, and channel this love to his brother, he needs to be an older brother to Carlos, and assures her this is his last goodbye, he thanked her for giving him the change to love her, he caresses her face and thanked her for giving him the change to say goodbye, he gets closer and touches her face whiles she closes her eyes, he kisses her forehead and walks out, she opens her eyes and he is gone, Priscilla tells Carlos she is worried about her son, because he is finding it difficult to accept that his dad is gone.
Carlos assures her she can also count on him if they need anything, she thanked him for all his support and asks him not to worry because someone is already helping them, Carlos asks her who, teacher Yolly walks in at that moment, Priscilla excuses herself to get some snacks, Carlos then decides to leave, but teacher Yolly asks him to wait, and asks him why he is trying to avoid her, and why does it pretend he is not JR, Carlos tells her because he is not JR anymore, she asks him if he also mad at her because she left him too, and assures him his family loves him very much especially his mother Marilen, she always believed he was alive, but Carlos tells her he can’t accept them back, she tells him his need forgiveness so he can love and be loved back, he apologies for not being the same JR she knew and leaves, Lorenzo receives a notices of Manuel charges against him, and asks his lawyer to do something, because he is not Lorenzo Antonio for nothing, he can’t afford to lose to someone like Manuel, Eva meets with Gael, she tells him for the short time they had spent together she knows his mood when something is wrong and assures him he can count on her if he needs someone to talk to, Gael then informs her it is finally over between him and Mia, she asks him if he regrets it, he says no, he did it for his brother, so they end the fight between them, and confesses to her if he had to sacrifice himself for his family to be complete, he will gladly do it, then Carlos calls him, he picks up but no one talk.
Mia volunteer to teach her mother how to mold the bones for the jewelry, Gael goes to the bar again to brings Carlos home, he wakes up but this time sees a cup of tea beside his bed, then they show another scene again of Gael going to the bar to rescue his little confused brother Carlos, Carlos asks him to stop playing the big brother role, because they both know he will give up on him at the end of the day, but Gael assures him he won’t, even if he had to keep on bringing him home to their family and takes him away, Alexa visits Mia at her shop and informs she has no interest in keeping their partnership since she is now the owner of Antonio Holding, so she taken away all Carlos’s investment including her shop, Mia father also joins them and informs her that people are in their shop threatening to take away all their stuffs, she asks him to tell Venus to remove her design and allow them to take whatever they want, then turns to Alexa and asks her if she needs something else, but Alexa asks her to stop acting brave in front of her, Mia laugh and assures her she is not, that her attitude is called dignity and self-respect, she doesn’t have to step on people to get what she wants, and advises her to do same.
