Forevermore Episode 49
Xander prepares him lips for a kiss, but clueless Agnes pays no attention to him. Tired of waiting he asks her permission to kiss her. Instead of giving him an answer, she rather stares at him. She playfully hits him and tells him he is asking for too much. Xander is willing to wait, even if it means their first kiss will be on their wedding day. He slowly reaches for her hand and land a sweet kiss on them. She asks him if he is satisfied. Xander yells and tells her he is more than satisfy and starts the car. Back at La Presa, they all wonder why Agnes and Xander are taken so long. They are getting impatient, Buboy has an idea. He suggests they start counting from 10. They all agreed and count, they reach 3 and notices Xander’s car approaches. Xander tells Buboy he respected his curfew and Buboy agrees. He asks his daughter to go to bed and tells Xander to go back home. No extra time for him because he already exhausted his time. He bids them good night and leaves, the villagers tease Agnes and want details. Agnes tells them she had a good time and has some good news for them. She tells her father she just has to submit her credential to the school. She will be working at the hotel so she can receive a scholarship. She doesn’t know if she will be a full scholar. At this point she is willing to accept any type of scholarship. She tells them she will get an allowance while working. Yeahhh that great, they all applaud, she tells them they will save more money. She informs them the money from the next harvest will be for Clauie and Judy. Niknok will also be a beneficiary, they all thank her. She turns to her father and asks for his permission to work for Xander’s family. Buboy has no objection; he even encourages her to work harder. He tells her she even give orders to Xander too. Alex and Bettina get ready for bed; he feels it was a great night. He compliments his wife for the way she handle Agnes.
Bettina tells him she has no right to Judge Agnes. She tells him Agnes seems to be the perfect girl for Xander. Alex tells her he will be going to Cebu for 2 weeks. He is going for a hotel convention and his old friend will be around too. He feels his friend might be able to help them with the Saavedra’s. Bettina suggests he takes Xander alone. She feels the conversation will do him good. He can learn more about the business and meets with his new associates. Alex was also thinking about that, he will talk to his mother about it. He is sure she would like the idea. Drew requests to talk to Agnes but she tells him it is already late. Drew wonder what wrong, he do sleep around sometimes. She tells him things are different now. He wonders if it is because she has a boyfriend now. He reminds her they are also best friend; she assures him it will never change. She has boyfriend now so he can’t guard her anymore. Kate didn’t sleep at home last night. Her mother decides to call her; she is by her car on the motorway. She is holding unto somethings that might belong to Xander. She tries to throw it away but she could not because she still loves him. She wants to let go because she realized Xander is in love with someone else. Marisol is already up preparing Christmas dinner; Agnes joins her in the kitchen. She tells Marisol after the Christmas dinner she would be able to open her restaurant. Marisol tells her there are so many things to be thankful this year. They thought they will be going their separate ways and it will be the end of La Presa. But they are still together and La Presa now belongs to them. Agnes is very thankful to Marisol who has been a mother to her ever since her mother left.
[adinserter block=”10″] Buboy joins them and can smell Christmas already. Niknok enters with his Christmas trees. He is thrilled to see the food Marisol is cooking. The aroma of her food leads the rest of the villagers in her kitchen. She gives them a portion to taste and they love it, Buboy says no one make macaroni better than Marisol. She tells them she made it special because they are still together and will always be together. While they were chatting and laughing, Niknok was busily enjoying the bowl full of macaroni. Kate returns home and runs into her parent downstairs. She tells them she went to the spa last night and felt asleep there. Her dad asks her to text them the next time something similar happen. They were worried she didn’t sleep at home. Kate apologizes and asks her father about his deal with the Grande. He tells her they are still thinking about it, but he feels it is better not to push through it. Meg informs the Grande she has already arranged for Agnes’s scholarship. She asks them not to worry, she will personally trained Agnes. Bettina suggests she does something else, she prefers to take care of Agnes. Xander thanks his parent for what they are doing for Agnes. He knows they will have preferred he date someone from the same status. Alex then informs him they are going on a two week convention. Kate doesn’t think they need to cancel their partnership with the Grande. Her father assures her he won’t let get back with Xander. He tells her she doesn’t have to beg for love. She assures him it is not about Xander but her career. She tells him if he continues the partnership, her restaurant will be included. She promises him to do everything to make it to the top.
Xander doesn’t take the new of the convention well. They all tried to convince him it will learn a lot and gain international connection. Back at La Presa they have started decorating the village. Agnes is already to leave for work, they all gather to wish her well. Xander is worried about Agnes; Bettina tells him she won’t be gone when he returns. Xander reluctantly agrees to go with his father. Kate’s parent do not think she can’t handle being around Xander. She begs her father not to cancel their partnership because of her. Buboy drives his daughter to the Grande Hotel. She runs into Bettino at the reception. Bettina tells her she has only one rule here. Work is work; she hopes Agnes doesn’t take it personally. She takes Agnes to her department to be given the rules and regulation. Bettina initially informs her she was going to be chambre d’ hotel but fail to explain to her. She tries to play nice with the other staff but they ignore her or give her attitude. Agnes runs into Meg, she hopes Agnes will joins them for Christmas Eve. Agnes tells her she can’t, they also celebrates it in la Presa. Meg tries to tease her about the food she is going to miss at their Christmas dinner. Bettina asks MS Charito not to give special treatment to Agnes. She asks the evil woman to treat her the hard way. Meg explains to Agnes that she will be a chambermaid and run errands. The smile on Agnes disappears, but still remains calm and tell Meg she sort of knew that is what she will be doing. She assures Meg she has no problem to clean room. Meg informs Xander Agnes will be under Ms. Charito supervision. Xander is not worried; he knows Agnes can handle anything and anyone. Xander send her a message to ask out about her break time so they can eat together. Ms. Charito wastes no time and start bullying Agnes. Just as she finish Agnes receives the test message. Ms Charito forbids her to use phone during working hours. Meg tells Xander Agnes is not replying because her phone is either in the locker or she is with Ms Charito. Agnes is ready to clean her first hotel room. The enthusiasm and smile at which she opens the door disappears when she sees how dirty and untidy the room is.
