Horacio Pancheri came to Mexico three years ago with great sacrifice: leaving his son in Argentina. Now, with a tour and a new project, the argentine opens his heart to tells his fans about his life in the city, in which is found great friends and a new love; his girlfriend Grettel Valdez.
One of my greatest sacrifices is that I had to leave my country and have my son away from me. He lives in Argentina with his mother and I had to be away from him because I wanted to become an actor. I studied modelling and physical education but came to Mexico to study acting; to prepare for such career, I had to be away from my family and roots, but leaving my son was the hardest. Pancheri said in an interview with Hola! Mexico Online.
He started as a model; however, Horacio felt there was something missing in his modelling career. So a year later, he found his passion in front of the cameras thanks to Rene Pereyra, whom he refers to as “his great maestro”, with a smile the actor admitted it was him who taught him to love and respect this profession that today pays off with his first protagonist role in the soap opera “Un Camino hacia el destino” which he shares credit with Paulina Goto.
It is no coincidence that this new professional challenge came at this point in his life, as Pancheri admitted that he personally worked for what he have today. In addition, he confessed that fatherhood was a big factors that made him reflect on his life and after the arrival of Benito, three years ago he become much more stable.
Distance is no obstacle to Horacio, and thanks to technology he is able to keep in touch with his son, he also has a good relationship with the mother of his child. Although he personally saw him four or five month ago during his vacation, Pancheri makes sure he calls his son daily to keep an eye on him.
“Before I was someone who always thinks about himself, and did everything to please myself. The arrival of Benito gave me strength and safety. His arrival filled with desire to grow professionally for him to have a better future. It feels terrible to be away from him, living day to day without him with him is very difficult, but all the efforts I am doing and now this “sacrifice” will pay off in due time and I hope he appreciate it”, Pancheri said.
Once completely settle in Mexico, Horacio met his new girlfriend Grettel Valdez, now his fiancée. The started dating a year ago, he later proposes with an engagement ring during one of their romantic vacation. Pancheri and his girlfriend have not decided on the wedding date yet because they want concentrate on their work.
“I have been in a relationship with Grettel for over a year, she helps me a lot in my career, she was the first person to support me in this project, she finished recording and I am now recording, luckily we complement each other very well. I proposed a couple of months ago, due to her soap opera and now mine we are both waiting patiently for the right time to have the wedding, no need to rush,” he stated.
