Mariano tries to convince Damien to persuade Pablo to plead guilty of offence but Damien tells him that, he will never on do such a thing when he knows that Pablo is innocent about the shooting incidence and also he tells mariano that, he has seen the bad decisions he’s been making lately as he’s only doing that base on purpose but he shouldn’t think that he doesn’t know that he’s been messing up Pablo’s defense and he is therefore assuring him that, all of his plans will not work. Fela requests from Silencioso on why he is refusing to tell Esmeralda the truth about him being her father. Silencioso answers her that it is because he wants to clear his name first before doing so.
Fela says to him that she truly and perfectly understands him but he should know Esmeralda by now that, she doesn’t care about those things at all. Pablo thinking that he will be bailed in few days, he calls Esmeralda on phone to tell her that he would like them to get married a week later right after he is released from prison and Esmeralda becomes so over whelmed at the message and she quickly goes to inform Fela about it and she feel so happy for her and she decides to go out with Esmeralda to buy the items for wedding since they only have a week to do so. Though the judge accepts to bail Pablo and he keeps waiting to be let out of prison but only to be told by Damien that, the judges have again refuse bail once again and this breaks Pablo’s heart into pieces again.
Mariano visits Dominico at the hospital and he asks Dominico to testify against Pablo and Dominico asks him why he wants to do that against his own brother and Mariano tells him that is not important but what is important is to say to the judges exactly what he says to him. Lupe goes to see Dominico at the hospital and he threatens Dominico to say the truth to the police that it is not Pablo who shot him if not he is going to let the secret out of his mouth since Pablo is suffering for a crime he knows nothing about it because he would rather go to jail than that innocent man (Pablo) since he was the one who shot him with that gun as Dominico forced him to do so.
