Mrs. Rita and Chacharas pay Ines a visit in prison and whiles she escorts them out, she collapses and after being taking to the hospital, the doctor confirms that she is pregnant.
Esmeralda continues with her therapy and as the day goes by she carry on to make progress through the help of her specialists and she is asked to let his family know a bit of her progress but she tells them that, she wants to wait for a little while and then surprise them with the news. Pablo takes the children to his work place and he tells them that their mum has always being the love of his life and she is his breath that makes him carry on in upon all hardships he’s been through.
Esmeralda after charting a while with her doctor Penuela (blind) and seeing that he was trying to divert their conversation into a love issue, she tells him that she wants to go back to her room. He asks Esmeralda if she is going to her room to think about Pablo and Esmeralda stated that, of course she is definitely going to think about him because he (Pablo) is the love of his life and also the father of her children whom she adores with all of her being. At the mere mentioning of that, he grows so disturbed and hurt for that statement from Esmeralda.
Mariano and Pablo takes a walk and Pablo tells Mariano that he feels so afraid that Esmeralda is also going to fall in love with Dr. Penuela since he has discovered that that doctor has fallen in love with her but Mariano tells him not to be afraid as Esmeralda only has her eyes on him (Pablo) alone.
Esmeralda’s new friend at the school of disability goes to inform her that, she wants Esmeralda to be her maid of honor since her boyfriend has come over to propose marriage to her and has also tell her that, he doesn’t care about her disability he still love her and wants to marry her and Esmeralda accepts to be her maid of honour.
