Lorenza finally blows the news to Pablo that, Virginia is not her biological daughter but rather a daughter her sister to whom she has been considering as her best friend thus Pablo’s Auntie Graciela who also suffered the same fate as Virginia before dying and same death fate lays before Virginia after she also put to bed since the blind is a hereditary disease she acquired from her mother. The whole thing makes Pablo confuse and distressed since he still finds it difficult to believe his mother of all she’s saying but he promises his mum he is never going to say a thing to Virginia but he advises her to do so before it becomes too late for Virginia to think about making a family that will lead her to death during her delivery. Damien still in critical condition and the doctor calls Silencioso to inform him that until Damien receives important prostheses to regain his memory back otherwise his amnesia will still continue but Silencioso grows very downhearted since he is now broke to the earth concerning finance and the money the doctor is asking for is also a lot.
After Esmeralda tells Pablo that Damien’s situation is getting worse since there is no money and Pablo tells her that he wishes to help but Gisela will void their contract without he having to work/paint to gain money if she sees him still with her (Esmeralda) but all the same he will let her void it if she continues to insist that he leaves her (Esmeralda). so he tells Esmeralda to forget about the entire problem facing them both their family and also his because he is making everything possible for things to work out well for them so that after a month later they can be able to get married ones and for all because he is not going to allow anyone to come between them and destroy their happiness ever again. Chacharas asks Mrs. Rita to stop trying to let Ines out of jail illegally since it’s a total madness to do search but rather she should be free legally by letting Silencioso’s lawyer to handle the case which at the end will make all of them happy but Mrs. Rita insists on going the illegal means to let Ines escape from prison no matter what Chacharas tells her and she tells Chacharas that Ines is the only thing that matters to her and she prefers to let her out of jail to enjoy with her new living with her especially the money she’s gotten now so she hires someone to help Ines escape.
The trial is about to start for the day so Pablo in the early morning goes to see his father at home to ask him to give up since he is going to be on the lose side because he wants justice to prevail so that the innocent will be vindicated but Augustin furiously and so full of himself will not listen and says to Pablo not when he’s gotten a great evidence in his hands to defeat Silencioso. Everyone gets set at the court for the first hearing of the case between the two parties. Mariano goes to plead with his father so he will allow him to represent him as his lawyer but Augustin refuses saying that Mariano will go in favor of Silencioso since he has made him to know that he (Mariano) is on Silencioso’s side and not his so he is going to speak for himself with anyone representing him. After Silencioso’s counselor has spoken the judge calls on Agustin to also say his part and when he was at the verge of opening his mouth to use and say something about Silencioso’s signed document, Lorenza bumps into the court premises unexpectedly and she pleads with the judge to let her testify against Agustin though he is her husband.
