Pablo goes to visits Juan Gaza’s lawyer to try to convince him that he is the father of Esmeralda’s children. the lawyer doesn’t believe him, he asks Pablo to show him the documents that prove that he is the real father. Pablo doesn’t have any, they both end up arguing. Juan Gaza tells Garabato that his parent did not abandon him. he tells him they were both victim of the same person. he tells him his parents were murdered and he will help him to make them pay. Mariano reprimands Pablo for going to see the lawyer. he asks him to try and help Esmeralda instead of making things worst. Pablo suggests to do a DNA test but Mariano tells him that can only happen by a court order. Esmeralda and Virginia look at wedding gown. Virginia tells her how much she is in love with Carlos and Esmeralda says she feels the same things for Pablo too. Virginia tells Esmeralda, her wish is to see her family united. Garabato narrates to Carlos what Juan Gaza told him earlier. Carlos asks him not to believe him, they end up talking about their love life.
Carlos tells him about his wish to have kids with Virginia but they can’t have any. Garabato tells him while Virginia and him want to have kids and can’t have any. Ines is pregnant and doesn’t want the baby, how ironic. he tells Carlos he wants to marry Ines as soon possible. Carlos suggests they do in the prison. Juan Gaza’s lawyer informs him about Pablo visits and asks him if he is indeed the father of those kids. Esmeralda introduces Dr. [adinserter block=”10″] Javier to Lorenza to check on her health. he asks her to rest because she is very stress, she tells him she has to take care of Augustin. Esmeralda promises to help her out, Pablo, Mariano and Damian meet with Juan Gaza’s lawyer. Juan Gaza speaks with someone on phone to update him on their plan about Gaza Claiming paternity of the children. Esmeralda notices the sad mood of her parents and Jarocha and asks them what is going on. she can feels that something is wrong, she asks Jarocha but she tells her she knows nothing. The lawyer seem surprise to know that Damian is representing Esmeralda because she has not been called yet. Juan Gaza also joins them at the office, Pablo get angry and punches Gaza.
Mariano holds him to prevent him from punching him again. Gaza tells him he will claim his children, Gaza narrates his story with Esmeralda but Pablo doesn’t believe him. they argue till Pablo holds his neck and tries to strangle him, doctor Javier comfort Esmeralda. she puts her head on his chest and closes her eyes , and he tries to kiss her. Pablo and Gaza continue with their argument until Gaza removes his knife and threatens him. Damian quickly rushes and take the knife away from him. Esmeralda opens her eye and notices the doctor’s mouth closer to hers. too much commotion in the lawyer’s office. Garabato goes to the prison with a rose and proposes to Ines with a stolen ring. Esmeralda tries to convince Pablo to tell her what they are all hidden from her. Ines refuses his proposal but decides to keep the ring.
