Eladio leaves and Erick smashes the rose on the wall before going to see Monserrat. He demands to know what Eladio was doing in her apartment. He wants to know if she is dating him. Daniella hopes David didn’t take what she said seriously. She was scared about her father. David asks her to forget about him and hang up just as Regina joins him. He wants to know if she will be able to confront her family for their love. Monserrat denies being in a relationship with Eladio, he came here because he is paying for her apartment. She throws him out and threatens to call the police if he doesn’t live. Regina has also been worried about the same thing though she knows her father loves her. She is however determined to fight for what makes her happy and they kiss. Daniella confronts Joshua for telling the truth to Regina. Joshua had no choice; he thought by telling her the truth Regina will forgive him. Arturo comes in and throws him out of the house. He advises Daniella to stay away from him for her own good. Consuelo confronts Monserrat for sleeping with her husband. Franco can’t believe Eladio actually bought a phone for Julia. Eladio tells him this way he can monitor all her movement. Franco tries to give his opinion but Eladio reminds him of his position. Franco tells him he saw him with Monserrat last night at the event. He thought Eladio is interested in her and want him to confide in him. Monserrat denies, but Consuelo doesn’t believe her. She and Erick disappear at the same time; he came back with the fragrance of the new perfume on him. Monserrat continue to deny and tries to make excuses. Consuelo gets angry and slaps her and calls her a hypocrite. Franco apologizes to Eladio, he thought Eladio also had need just like him. Eladio wants to know with whom, just at that moment Gaby walks by.
Franco stare at her direction, Eladio hopes he wasn’t referring to Gaby. Franco tells him no, Eladio advises him to look elsewhere because she Julia niece. Monserrat will never have a relationship with Erick because he is daddy boy. Consuelo apologizes to her, she has been on edge because Erick wants a child and she hasn’t been able to get pregnant. Monserrat asks her to leave, and says to herself she knows what to do since Erick want a child. Arturo reminds him son that he gave him a house but he decided to rent it out. He feels the money should be enough for Erick to take care of his own expenses. Erick tells him most of them are business expense. Arturo shows him his bank statement. He tells him the jewelry wasn’t for his wife and advises him to be careful. Erick tells him he wants to divorce Consuelo, daddy tells him hell no. he wanted to get married so he should make it work, Erick can’t stand his wife anymore. Arturo advises he get his own place so Consuelo can make her decision instead of always asking Nina for permission. Julia advises Franco to speak with Eladio about his relationship with Gaby. Erick wonder how he is going to leave independently with Consuelo when Arturo he trying to reduce his expenses. After all money is not a problem in the family. Arturo tells him if he has money is because his (Ercik) grandfather and father worked hard. So why can’t he (Erick) also work hard and make his own money instead of depending on the family and company. Arturo advises to work on his marriage and sees a counselor if necessary instead of cheating on his wife.
Monserrat’s friend comes to her apartment. They chat about her relationship with Eladio and Erick. Franco tells Eladio he saw Gisela in his office the last time. Eladio is pissed off and warns him not to speak with Gisela again. His secretary enters his office and he fired her. Erick and Regina agree to spend the rest of the day together. Bad news for Mirabel, the doctor tells her she has brain tumor and cannot be operated. Maribel wants to know how long she has to live. Franco meets with his school mate at a coffee. She tells him she hates her job and need to find a new one. Franco tells her he has to her solution, she wonders if he is going to marry her. He tells her, she knows very well marriage isn’t his style but it doesn’t mean they can’t have fun and they kiss. Clara request they seek a second opinion on Maribel case but she refuses. She knows she is going to die and wants to spend the rest of the time she has left with her family. Franco tells Marinita about the vacancy and offer to give her all the information she needs to get the job. In condition she is to report to him on Eladio moves, she agrees but wonder if he doesn’t trust him.
Monserrat wonders why he hasn’t done anything about it. She is tired of being the other woman. Erick can’t divorce his wife, well Monserrat tells him she will look elsewhere. Erick tells her she belongs to him and she is not allowed to see any other man. Marinita brings her CV to Eladio, he is impressed and want to know what she will to do to have the job. She starts flirting and unbuttons her shirt in front of him. He turns her down and tells he only want her to be a good secretary. Erick loves Monserrat but can’t divorce his wife. He tells her about the conversation he had with his father. He sees the ticket and the money and wonder if she intends to live town without telling him. Eladio calls her and hopes she is already in the airport. Monserrat tells Erick she is willing to leave just to forget about him. Erick asks her to be a bit patient, but in the meantime he wants her to stop working for Eladio. She refuses, and assures him she isn’t interested in Eladio. Gaby and Julia come to the beauty salon and meet Nina there. Julia decides to wait; Nina sees her and passes a comment. Julia recognizes her, Nina gets up from her chair and walks towards them. She tells Julia nothing gives her pleasure than to see her husband buying the dress she wanted. She feels it is a pity; Eladio didn’t want to buy anything for her. Julia feels the most important thing was Arturo donation. Nina wants Julia to accept that her husband doesn’t treat her like Arturo treats her. Julia asks her to give up if she wants to continue their husband fight. She tells Nina, she will lose because she won’t her that pleasure. Julia decides to leave; Nina asks her if she prefers to leave instead of accepting the truth. That Eladio Gomez is inferior and can’t afford a dress she wants. Julia wonders what opinion she (Nina) has about her husband.
Arturo sent the inspectors to Eladio hotel when he hadn’t done anything wrong. Franco wants Marinita to pretend they don’t know each other in the office. Nina has no idea what Julia is talking about. Her husband will never do such a thing. Julia tells her she knows Arturo well, Arturo is … Nina interrupts her and wonders how she knows Arturo when they just met. Julia tells her it is obvious she knows nothing; she won’t waste her time arguing with a woman like her and leave. Nina takes her frustration on the workers. She calls her husband and request to speak with him. Eladio agrees to give money to Gisela but on condition she does what he says. Nina goes complaining to her husband about her confrontation with Julia. She wonder why Julia said she knows him and wants to know if really doesn’t know her. Arturo tells her not to fall into Julia’s game. Nina tells him she hates Julia and now than ever she wants him to destroy Eladio.
