Julia explains to him that Eladio found out they met before the wedding and thinks David is his son. Daniella breaks her nail while cleaning, Petra boss her around to keep cleaning. Clara enters and sees Daniella on her knees cleaning the floor. She mistakes her for the maid and asks her to inform Consuelo about her presence. Clara finally recognizes her and tells her she saw her at Consuelo wedding. Daniella rudely asks her to let Petra informs Consuelo and leaves. Julia doesn’t want to talk about the past; Arturo tells her she brought back memories. He wants to know why she put up with Eladio, she tells him for her son. She did everything for David. Petra leads Clara to Consuelo’s room; Consuelo informs her she is pregnant. Arturo wants to know why Julia didn’t forgive him; she reminds him he got someone else pregnant. She decided to marry Eladio so Arturo also suffers like she did when she found out about Suzana. Arturo asks her for forgiveness; Julia feels she rather needs to apologize. She admits she got married to Eladio to take revenge on him. Aldo hands over the phone to Consuelo to read the background information about Consuelo. She is so sure Erick has no idea Consuelo was rescue from a bordello before taken to the orphanage. Julia feels with the DNA test Eladio will now believe Davis is his son. Arturo wants to know why Eladio won’t take the test. Julia doesn’t care about the consequences; she wants to put an end to Eladio’s doubt. She almost tells him about the relationship between David and Regina. Arturo agrees to have the DNA test, he will everything to make sure she is ok. Regina and David cuddle in Francisco’s apartment. She tells him she told Miguel about their relationship.
David also tells her he did same with his mother and she agrees to keep their secret. They end up chatting about their parent and kiss. Julia asks Arturo not to do the test if he thinks it will worsen his rivalry with Eadio. She tells him Eladio is very violent, Arturo asks her not to worry. He turns to face the other direction and says to himself he will kill Eladio if he ever laid his hand on her. He turns to Julia’s direction and tells her they will have been a wonderful family. Well things didn’t happen this way and asks him to leave, Arturo leans and kiss her. Consuelo still believes the child will save her marriage. Clara doesn’t agree with her and feels she is better off without Erick. Consuelo changes the subject and wants to know what up with her. Clara tells her she is very happy because Francisco; the love of her life though he doesn’t know invited her to spend the weekend in Acapulco. Maribel joins her family at the beach. Arturo informs Augustin he will take the DNA test, Augustin advise he doesn’t get involve in her marriage. Arturo tells him he kissed her, he knows they are both but he couldn’t control himself. Franco informs his godfather he couldn’t come to an agreement with the protestors. Arturo tells Augustin the kiss was on impulse and promise not to do that again. Augustin hopes he won’t see Julia again, he will but only to give the DNA result. David assures Regina he will be good father, very different from his father. Regina will also be a good mother, very different from her mother. Erick complains to his father about his office being occupied by someone else. Arturo reminds Erick he is Augustin’s assistant and he is supposed work under his supervision.

Erick leaves the office and Arturo asks Augustin to be checking his move. Augustin wants Arturo permission to be hard on Erick, permission granted. Consuelo informs Miguel they can no longer be friend, she wants to work on her marriage. Miguel would have understood if she actually wants it but he can’t because he knows Erick ordered her to do so. Franco gives the full list of the protestors to Eladio and he realized Arturo has something to do with it. Eladio yells at Franco for being incompetent, Franco tries to explain him but Eladio doesn’t give him the chance. Petra enjoys her new position; Daniella complains to mummy dear about the house work. She prefers to go to rehab or convent instead of doing house chores. She tells her mother Clara even mistook her for the house help. Franco wants to know if Eladio will confront Arturo, Eladio tells him not to be stupid and reminds him they have no evidence. Arturo receives the good news and celebrates with Augustin. Erick comes in and confidently tells his father he has some good news for him. He laughs and tells his father Eladio construction project has been stopped, Arturo tells him his news came late. Arturo asks him to return to his post; Erick tells him he is his right hand man. Arturo corrects him and reminds him he was now and asks him to leave. Franco shows the profit and loss to Eladio and he is pissed than before. He takes his frustration on Franco and insults him. Augustin assures Arturo that Erick is a good kid and asks him to Erick some time. He quickly changes the subject and asks Arturo to join him to check on Eladio lost.
Arturo is happy Eladio is losing and tells him it is to avenge what he did with Erick. Arturo doesn’t want to get Eladio angry if not he will take it on Julia. Franco returns to his office and take his frustration on the furniture. Gaby enters his office and he tells her they lost a project and Eladio is blaming him. Gaby wonder if she can do something to help, Franco tells her David should been here. Gaby reminds her he is working on his project. Franco tells her David doesn’t care about the company. He calls David irresponsible; Gaby tells him David is independent unlike other. He doesn’t depend on his father; Franco wants to know what she is insinuating. Erick tries to get Augustin on his side, Augustin asks him to be grateful because his father loves him. He advises Erick to work hard if he wants to be treated well by his father. Franco returns to Eladio’s office and tries to shift blame on David. He tells Eladio David should be around. He could have used his knowledge in construction to negotiate. Eladio admits it is an option but asks him not to look for someone to blame. Eladio calls someone to book a meeting. Franco offers to go with him but he refuses, he vows to take revenge on Arturo and everyone involve. Justin notices there is something Maribel isn’t telling him about her health. Maribel finally tells her husband she has few time left and wants him to promise he will never be alone. He will always be happy and be there for Lorita, Justin begs her not to say so. Larita joins them; Maribel gives her the usual goodbye message, the little girl cries. Maribel asks her husband to take her inside the water for the last time. He carries her almost lifeless body and walks into the sea leaving the little girl on shore.
