Clara brings Consuelo home but Gisela refuses to her stay in the house. Clara reminds her it is also her house; she has the right to brings in whoever she wants. Eladio needs nothing that belongs to Arturo. Humberto tells him if he approves their relationship he will also please Julia. He agrees but also Arturo. Humberto tries to convince him but Eladio is smart enough. He is sure Humberto is after his own interest. Eladio gather the oxygen cable in hand asks him to think about all he did for his daughter. Erick returns home and lie to Arturo that he was in the office. Arturo asks him not to take him for fool. He knows very well Erick was his lover, Erick tries to deny. He assures Arturo that he already ended his relationship with Monserrat. Nina tells him he is lying and for the first time supports her husband. Arturo informs him Consuelo left home. Erick is glad because he can’t stand her close to Miguel. Arturo asks him to stop his foolishness and to be man to face his responsibilities. The least he can do is to support and help her to have a healthy pregnancy. Nina agrees with Arturo, she asks Erick not to worry Consuelo. It may affect their grandchild, Erick gives a confuse look to his mother. Arturo asks him to bring back Consuelo home, Erick won’t. He tells his father he is no more interested in Consuelo. He is going to divorce her and doesn’t care about the baby. Consuelo cries to Clara about her fail marriage. Clara tells her she is not to be blamed. It is Monserrat fault, though Erick is also guilty. She advises her to get strength from her baby and move forward. Consuelo agrees with her, she won’t let them get to her. Arturo can’t believe his childish son. Nina backs him up and reminds her son that the baby is his responsibilities. Arturo can’t believe the story he is making up to divorce Consuelo.

Erick understands but she can’t reproach him in front of his father. Nina asks him to get used to it because from now on she is going to back Arturo up. Erick wonder why, she tells him to pleased his father. She and Daniella have already decided to back Arturo up in everything. She tells him he is also supposed to do his part. Erick agrees but she should inform him earlier he thought she has gone nut. Nina tells him he would have known if he wasn’t wasting him time with Monserrat. She asks him not to go against his father if not he will lose everything. She tells him he is the only want that should inherit the Montenegro’s fortune.
Franco joins Eladio in his study. Eladio informs him about his argument with David. He asks Franco not to inform Julia that David left home. He wants her to keep believing that he went to Queretaro. Franco once again reminds him that he can always count on him. He tries to shakes Eladio’s hand but Eladio shows him the direction to the door. Erick agrees to go along with his mother’s plan but he hopes she won’t ask him to stay married to Consuelo. Nina tells her to get back with Consuelo until she gives birth. Then he can take the child and asks her for a divorce. She tells him the baby is very important to his father. Erick prefers she keeps the baby. Nina tells him he is getting it wrong. Ealdio and the union leader meet in his office. Union leader tells Eladio he won the contract because of him. Eladio disagrees; he won thanks to his money and his negotiation with Santiago. Leader wants to know what he has to do it next. Eladio tells him to stay off Arturo regarding any deal. David joins Regina in Queretaro and informs her he was sack from home. David feels it was better. this way he doesn’t have to argue with him. He is however worried about his mother, and informs her he is a broke man. Too bad she tells him, and teases him but assures him it doesn’t matter to her. He informs her he is staying with Francisco at the moment. She informs him Nina asks her to breaks up with him but she won’t. Arturo calls to find out about the construction, she tells him not worry. It is going on fine, until he tells her it won’t takes place any more. She wonders who will take over Santiago’s construction.

Childish Erick seems excited the contract has been canceled. He feels it is evidence that his little sister has no experience. Arturo enters the office and asks about Consuelo. He tells her his mother hasn’t confirmed whether Consuelo is back or not. Arturo reminds him he was supposed to look for her and bring her back home. Arturo warns him not to return home without his wife and hopes he made himself clear. Franco calls him to find out if he has an answer for his blackmail. David and Regina agrees to meet later in the evening. Franco manages to deceive Julia and assures his godmother her secret and Arturo visits are safe with him. Humberto joins them in the room and kicks everyone in the room out. He demands to know how on earth she allowed his granddaughter to date a good for nothing like Franco. Eladio asks Santiago to convince his partners not to go ahead with the construction. Santiago invites him for a meeting with his associate at the club. Julia reminds her father that Eladio wasn’t rich when she married him. Humberto tells her Eladio’s case is different. Julia tells him just like Eladio, Franco also has a future. Humberto disagrees; Franco is nothing but an employer. Julia tells him he is Eladio’s right hand man. He is also very much like Eladio which scares her.
Humberto tells her Franco is the son of a maid and driver. He won’t let his granddaughter date him; Julia tells him not interfere into their relationship. She and Eladio already gave them their approval. David and Regina continue from where they left before he went to Mexico. Arturo and Franco meet at the club restaurant; Eladio shows up with Santiago and sees them. Arturo enjoys the moment while Franco looks like he is about to pee in his pant. David and Regina make love passionately. Franco lies but Arturo asks him to be man enough and admit he was trying to blackmail him. Franco dares him to tell the truth to Eladio, Arturo turns to face Eladio. Too bad Arturo himself is not man enough, he also lie to Eladio. Julia informs Gaby grandpa is against their relationship. Gaby loves Franco and doesn’t care about his background. Go girl!!! Julia agrees with her. She even advises her not to break up with Franco. She tells Gaby not to allow Humberto bully her like he did with them. Gaby knows Humberto also opposed her parent’s relationship. Julia tells her the most important thing is her parents are together and happy. Arturo lied to Eladio about his meeting with Franco. He prefers to talk business, he confronts Santiago and Eladio. Santiago asks him not to take it personal, it was a business decision. Eladio tells not to blame Santiago because he didn’t do his homework well. Eladio feels it is too bad Regina and David help could not help him. Arturo sarcastically tells him their children are dating. Regina and David cuddle and make some promise to love each other till forever.
Santiago seems to be lost in the argument and wonder what they are talking about. Elaido tells him Arturo thought he could use his daughter to get inside information against him. Arturo assures him he is not like him, Eladio feels it is unfortunate. Eladio prefers to end the conversation, Arturo calls Santiago corrupt. Eladio asks him not to pay attention to him and prefers they walk away. As soon as they leave, Arturo calls Pedro and asks him to put plan B into action. He won’t allow Eladio to construct in Santa Fe. Eladio grabs Franco color and demands to know what he was doing with Arturo. Eladio doesn’t believe him, and hopes he is not double crossing him. Franco feels offended and reminds him he has always been loyal to him. Eladio reminds him that without Eladio Gomez Luna he Franco is nobody. Franco knows it, and tells him he is nothing like David. Eladio grabs him hand and agrees with him. Franco smiles Disappears when Eladio tells him he will never be like David. David is the son he had with the woman he loves. Francisco comes to see Clara and runs into Consuelo. Gisela sees them and leave without saying hi to him. Consuelo offers to make hi tea, he accepts and admires her. Gisela rushes to Clara and tells her she warns her it was a bad idea to let Consuelo live with them. She tells Clara, Consuelo is stealing her boyfriend. She asks Clara to join them before they do something bad. Eladio and Franco enter Julia’s room and meet her bed empty. He causes a scene demanding to know his wife whereabouts. Meanwhile Julia is home feeding her canaries. Eladio calls Gaby and she inform him Julia is home. Clara enters and confirms what Gisela told her, Francisco put a smile on her face.
He admits that Consuelo is beautiful but she is married and pregnant. But the truth is Consuelo doesn’t have Clara smile and sense of humor. He takes out two football ticket and invites her out. They spend a good time at the stadium. Nina wants her husband to fall in love with her again like he did when they first met. So decides to wear Lucita’s size. The dress is so small that Petra is unable to help her lace her it so she turns to Daniella. Eladio and Franco return home. They run into Gaby in the hall. He demands to know why she didn’t inform him about Julia discharge. Gaby tells him because Julia asks her no to. He tells her he doesn’t care about what Julia says and torture the young lady emotionally. Franco stands and witness without defending her not even when Eladio tossed her around like a dull. As soon as Eladio leaves she confronts him for not defending her. He tells her it is her fault, and takes Eladio’s side. Gaby can’t believe it; she was expecting him to defend her. She reminds him she is his girlfriend, yes but Eladio is also his godfather and boss. She realized she can’t count on him for anything. Eladio goes to the bedroom and confront Julia. she tells him she didn’t want to argue. She only wanted to come home and sees her canaries. Elaido wonders if she is trying to provoke him. Julia already informs him she is not in the mood for his yelling. She tells him she can’t stand to hear him maltreat their son. She doesn’t believe his promise to change because he is still seeing Monserrat. He tells her she has no right to talk to him this way. Julia tells him she has been enduring the same treatment from him for the past years. He decides to punish her and violently leads her outside near canaries. He opens the cage and releases the canaries while she cries and begs him not to. He tells her he decides to free them to remind her she is just like them. She can’t survive on her own.
