Road To Destiny Episode 13
Pedro continues to narrates his sorrowful life to the bar man. He recalls his last conversation with Amelia and curses Luis. The man makes the mistake to ask him to calm down. Carlos drives Fernanda home, her conscience still disturbing her because she lied to her father. She also lied to Camilla it was her father birthday from preventing her to come to his house. They get flat tire on their way home. Isabella and Felipe come to the hospital and request to see Fernando. The nurse checks the registry and tells them there is no one registered under this name. Isabella is pissed off, and tells Felipe Carlos lied again. Felipe asks her to calm down and asks the nurse to check again. The main doctor joins them and tells them Fernando wasn’t admitted. It is late Carlos and Fernanda are still on the bridge and Fernanda is nervous. Carlos gives her his phone to call her father but she refuses. Isabella picks another jealousy crisis, she is sure Carlos is cheating on her. Felipe assures her Carlos adores her but she doesn’t believe him and accuses him of being Carlos’s accomplice. She tells him she knows Carlos is with another woman, a school girl name Camilla. A couple drives by and sees Carlos and Fernanda trying to fix the car tire. They offer to help, Fernanda chat with the woman while Carlos and man attend to the car. Once they are done, the man takes out a gun and points it at them. Drunk Pedro returns home and meets his wife in the room. She asks him to sleep in another room because she can’t stand him. Amelia once again asks him not to compare himself to Luis because he is a simple gardener.
Pedro agrees, he is a simple gardener but he loves her all his life. Amelia doesn’t need a poor man to love her. Pedro reminds her on papers she is wife, and as such she has to perform her duty. He is going to make her his, and throws her on the bed and start kissing her. The couple takes away Carlos’s car and his wallet and drives off. Amelia struggles and curses Pedro, he starts kissing her with the intention of raping her. He hears the religious chorus and come back to his senses. Amelia angrily wipes the kisses off her mouth. Luis is pissed off at Andrea, he made it clear to her he didn’t want to see her in his house. She didn’t respect him and accepted to go his house the following day. Andre had no choice, it is her job, and Marisa is her boss. Luis reminds her Marisa is also his wife. Amelia locks herself in her room and seat by the window to curse Pedro. Carlos and Fernanda walk to her house, Amelia walks on them kissing. It is late and Luis isn’t home, Marisa is worried because he doesn’t spend time with her these days. She loves her husband so much; she recalls their conversation about the plant and laugh. She stands in front of the mirror and wonder if Luis has lost interest in her. he found someone younger than her, with this in mind she is determine to do what it takes to look young. Amelia starts insulting Fernanda and calls he names. Carlos tries to defend Fernanda; Amelia tells him she is her daughter. Carlos wants to tell her the truth but Fernanda refuses.

Amelia threatens to call the police if he doesn’t leave and drags her daughter away. Carlos receives a call from the hospital and rushes to there. Felipe calls Camilla to find out about Fernanda whereabouts. Camilla tells him they spoke and admitted they both like Carlos. Felipe feels Carlos is interested in Fernanda and asks her to fight for him. Amelia wants Fernanda to admit she was in a hotel with Carlos. Fernanda admits she lies and went out with Carlos but she doesn’t have to treat her this way. Amelia tells her Pedro already know she lied to him. Camilla was here with her father, a very elegant man and doesn’t understand why she and Camilla are friend. Pedro decides to sleep with him friend, he regrets what he did. Tomorrow morning he will asks her for forgiveness. Pedro tells him he puts up with Amelia rejection because of Fernanda. Amelia insists and wants to know if Fernanda slept with Carlos. Fernanda didn’t, Amelia doesn’t believe her because he is a lair. They start yelling at each other, Fernand back off when Amelia raises her hand to strike her again. Amelia wants his name; he is Carlos Gomez, her boyfriend. She met him in the hospital where Luis took her after the accident. Carlos was the doctor who attended to her. Amelia feels Carlos is only deceiving her. Fernanda is in love and she knows Carlos loves her too. Amelia forbids her to see Carlos again but Fernanda doesn’t intend to respect her. Pedro dreams about his ungrateful wife, but in his dream she is grateful and informs him they are having a baby. Carlos performs surgery and revives a dying patient.
Carlos calls Felipe and informs him about the car theft. Felipe promises to take care of everything the following day. Carlos wonder how things ended with Fernanda. Luis finally arrive home, Marisa tries to make love but he makes excuses and goes to take a bath. Fernanda has decided to tell the truth to her father and Camilla. Pedro recalls his rape attempt and wonder why he did that. Fernanda wants to talk to her father; Amelia tells her he is not in. Amelia is still scolding and insulting her for what happen last night. Carlos calls the house and requests to speak with Fernanda. Amelia swears he will never see her daughter again. Clarita informs Rosario Fernanda introduces herself as Carlos’s girlfriend. She tells her Fernanda is friendlier than Isabella and she and Carlos are so much in love. Carlos informs his mother he is dating his school girl. Marisa reminds him he has a girlfriend called Isabella.
