Shadows Of The Past Episode 102
Christobal is shocked at Aldonza confession and tries to reason with her but she insists on divorcing him. She and Renato have decided to date so she wants him to accept it and grant her the divorce. Christobal finally agrees to divorce her. Severiano interrupts Melesio and the workers conversation and orders them to return to their post. Severiano asks Melesio to get the horses going to Puebla ready with Christobal. Melesio lets him Christobal is out, Severiano asks him where he went. Melesio tells him he only told him to attend to some personal matter. Prudencial swallows a couple of pills and try to leave when she sees Humberto. He prevents her from leaving and tells her they need to talk. She pays no attention to him and tries to leave but he grabs and drags her to a chair. She complains and blames him for making her life miserable. She tells him Valeria was right when she said he was a mediocre, he interrupts her and tells her he should not have married a woman who so stupidly superficial and empty headed. He informs her about his intention to divorce her as soon as possible. Prudencia tells him she won’t grant him the divorce and become the mockery in town. Humberto assures her she will, if not he will make sure everyone knows about her relationship with Tomas.
He will go as far as published in a newspaper, that Tomas tried to kill himself because of her. Lola comes to the law firm but meets Mari at the door. Mari refuses to open the gate and informs Lola that as at today she is Pato’s secretary. Humberto decides to leave the house; he tells Prudencia he is not throwing her out because of Valeria. However he wants her to understand that it is over between them. She will sign the divorce papers without any confrontation. Christobal and Aldonza sign the divorce papers, Christobal opens the door, but before he leaves. He congratulates Renato for getting what he always wanted. Renato asks Aldonza if what she told Christobal was true, she tells him the truth is she likes him very much. They both agree to take things slowly and get to know each other better.

Candela asks her not to lose hope especially now that Aldonza has agreed to divorce him. Veronica asks Emmanuel to forgive her for getting him into trouble. Lola waits for Pato at the café; she tries to calm down before he comes. As soon as he comes she confronts him about his new secretary and creates a scene at the café. Christobal gets home and start kicking things. Melesio approaches him and Christobal laments to him about his life. He tells Melesio he loves Aldonza but she doesn’t want to be him.
Melesio advises him to deal with it and reminds him that Aldonza is not the only women on earth. Severiano reprimands Valeria for leaving his house without informing them. She explains to him why she had to leave and start flirting right in front of her house. The bishop tells Father Jeronimo that he heard some serious allegation against him. He forged some documents, spent one night in jail and his intention to disclose what was revealed to him under the oath of confession. The priest listens to him attentively but gets angry when the bishop says he also heard his is having a romantic relationship with a woman. The priest tells him he is sure it was Severiano who told him all these. The bishop asks him to calm down and tells him he is only repeating what Mr. Mendoza told him. He called him here to hear his version of the story. Flavia picks up her son at school, Irma complaints to Adelina about Mari’s behavior but she stops when she notices her sad mood. Adelina tells her she is sad, she broke up with Joaquin. She tells Irma even though she feels something for Joaquin. It is not the same feeling she had for… Irma asks her for whom? Adelina hesitates then says Raymundo.
Her sister’s husband was the love of her life. The bishop tells the priest even though he says Severiano lie because he considers him as an enemy. He did say the truth about the forgery and Father Jeronimo admits. He did forge his signature but it was to help his niece Aldonza. The bishop tells him he has no choice but to transfer him. Candela comes to Christobal’s room; he tells her if she came to find out his divorce. Yes he is already the sign the papers. She nags him about Valeria but he tells her it is the least of his problem. The priest begs the bishop not to transfer him, especially not at this moment. Aldonza needs him; the bishop tells him that is why he is sending him away. He is too much involve in with his family that he at time forget he is a priest. Valeria enters her mother’s room to check on her because the maid told her she is been crying. She tells her Humbertor knows everything, her friend Theresa betrayed her. She cries and tells Valeria Humberto has already left the house and he intends to divorce her. Humberto settles in a hotel for the time being, he tries to removes his ring but it is a bit stuck. He manages to removes it and throws things around in the room and cries. Candela informs Valeria that Christobal and Aldonza have already signed the divorce papers. Christobal goes to Aldonza to try and convince her but they end up arguing. Renato and Christobal almost got into a fight, Aldonza interfere and asks Christobal to leave. Renato thanks Aldonza for giving him a change, and they share their first kiss.
