Marina is remembering damian and his promise to get divorced from esthercita to live with her forever, but she decides that it is better not to have hopes because she does not believe that esthercita allows damian to get divorced. Hernan tells marina to accept his proposal to work for him, that way she will have a peaceful life and without pressures, he makes clear that even he is love with her, his proposal has no other interest, marina responds that she does not want to hurt him making promises that maybe she would not be able to fulfill, anyway she will accept his proposal to see what happens.
Hernan tells valdivia that he expects that they are doing what they told them and that the packaging company remains completely destroyed and he does not want mistakes. Marina gets scared when she realizes that the packaging company is on fire and that she is trapped. Esthercita finds a blouse that belongs to marina in damian’s cabin and furious starts arguing with him and accuses him of Betray her and tears the blouse in front of him. Damian tells her that he has not lied to her but she can think and break whatever she pleases but they better talk about their marriage that was a mistake.
Damian finds out that the packaging company is on fire and nobody knows where marina is, damian holds hernan and tells him that marina was his responsibility, olinto anguished arrives and tells damian that marina is inside because she was going to do some reports, damian and hernan enter to rescue her but in that moment there is an explosion and hernan remains trapped, damian tries to help him but decides to go for marina first, fortunately he finds her and rescues her, damian goes back again to rescue hernan, hernan tells damian that he is in debt with him for saving his life, damian tells him that once he saved his life too, so they are even.
Olinto tells one of the firemen that he does not know how the fire could start because they have extreme security measures, the fireman tells him that they need the experts report but it seems that the fire was caused on purpose, that someone wants to destroy the packaging company. Damian tearful prays for marina to recover.
