Valentin visits Magdalena with flowers and asks for another change, Damian and Marina reconcile. Claudio confesses him love to Mercedes; she tells him he is special to her, Damian asks Jose to continue with the divorce procedure, Fulgencio informs Esthercita that Delfina left all her properties in her son’s name, she tells him whatever belong to her son belong to him, he calls her stupid and remind her that Damian had full custody of the boy, Ursula visits Hernan in jail, she tells him the officers seized all his assets, he tells her he has no one to count on and her to beg Fulgencio to help him, Beatrice send for Father Tomas, she feels her time is up, she tells the priest she wants to confess, he praises her for raising Marina to be a strong and independent woman, Esthercita goes to her mother and tells her she want to change and get her child back, after the confession the priest bless Beatrice, Delfina promises Esthercita to talk to Damian to allow her visit her son, Rebeca and Jose come home and are surprised to see the priest, he tells them Beatrice calls him to have her confession and asks them to get ready that Beatrice will soon leave them.
Rebeca quickly runs to Beatrice’s room, Marina is in the stand in court, she narrates the ordeal she went through with Hernan, she thinks Hernan has a mental problem, Rebeca kneels by Beatrice’s side and begs her not to leave them, Beatrice tells her she is leaving Marina in her care, Valdivia and Lara try to run away but too late Olinto , Toribio and other police officers arrive just in time to arrest them, Hernan is declares guilty of all the charges against him, the doctor examines Beatrice for the last time, Hernan is sentenced to 101 years in jail and he is going directly to the maximum security prison, Ursula shares tears and seem shocked at the verdict but Hernan shows no remorse , Rosario overhears Lazaro tells Abigail tomorrow they will leave for Veracruz, Ursula updates her uncle on Hernan case, she tells him he was found guilty and send to psychiatric prison, she begs her uncle to help him that Hernan has no one, Fulgencio refuses and tells her he has enough problem on his own, Magdalena and Valentin visit Mercedes in the hospital, they inform her about their relationship and she give them her blessing.
Fulgencio tries to convince Lazaro that he will never do anything to hurt him because he is his son and tells him Rosario is responsible for all the problem is having with his wife, Beatrice gives her blessing to Rebeca, Rebeca informs Marina that Beatrice is in her last moment and asks to go see her, Fulgencio goes to visit Valdivia and Lara in jail and threatens to kill their family members if they ever say anything to incriminate him, Marina is now with Beatrice saying goodbye, Beatrice remembers when she first held Marina in her hand and all the good time they shared together, she asks Marina to get closer, she gives her blessing and dies, Marina cries and begs her to wake up, she closes Beatrice’s eyes, lies beside her and cries, Hernan is struggling in his new white outfit, he is in a small room with a small glass window, he screams and throws himself around, Marina holds her dead mother body and prays, Damian and Rebeca join her and she tells him her mother is gone, the two ladies weep uncontrollably, Damian the good man comforts them.
