Damian and Rebeca join Marina and she tells him her mother is gone, the two ladies weep uncontrollably, Damian the good man comforts them. Hernan keeps shouting Marina’s name, he throws himself around and cries, Magdalena brings Valentina home to meets Marina, she sees her crying, Marina tells her Beatrice is dead, Magdalena tells her Mercedes will also be good mother to them, Marina tells them she is glad her mother won’t suffer anymore, Damian and Magdalena comfort her, a lady teases Esthercita in the street, Esthercita yells are her, another lady also teases her, she gets uncomfortable and tells Ursula she wants to go home, Magdalena informs Mercedes about Beatrice’s death, she holds her heart and cries, Claudio asks her to be calm, she tells him to inform the doctor to discharge her so she can be with Marina, Abigail runs into Lazaro with his suitcase, she offers him to stay with her but he refuses and leave, Mercedes joins the rest at Beatrice’s funeral, she get closer to the casket and comfort Marina, Mercedes promises to protect her, Marina calls her mother and hugs her.
Hernan is awakes and continue with his shouts, a second Hernan appears to him and advises him to calm if he want to return to Marina. Father Tomas leads the prayer at Beatrice funeral, back in the house, Rufi served tea to the guests, and Marina says things won’t be the same without her mother Beatrice, Claudio tires to cheer them up with his jokes. He tells them he is glad Magdalena is calling uncle Claudio, Jose shows up and Claudia makes fun him about his tight shirt, Damian tells Claudia he will be the uncle of everybody in town, Claudio gets up, walks towards him and tells him he is not his nephew but his son, Damian gets up and hugs him, Hernan is now calm, the doctors enter to check on him and decides to removes his overall, Hernan asks them to call Ursula for him, Robles interrupts Mercedes and Damian conversation and asks to speak to Damian privately, the doctor calls Ursula and informs her about Hernan request to see her, he says her presence will help him a lot, she agrees to visit him, she smiles and say Hernan will soon be hers, Ursula comes home and see Esthercita drunk, Esthercita cries and laments about being the laughing stock in town, Damian goes where the kids found Zully’s phone and notices the bad smell, Ursula convinces Delfina to go see Esthercita.
Delfina comes to her daughter but she asks her to leave, Delfina begs her to open the door, but Esthercita refuses, she lies on the floor and cries, Mercedes holds little Mercedes and consoles Marina, she begs her to be strong for her daughter, Esthercita swallows some pills with a glass of whisky, Lazaro takes his bath when Abigail joins him naked, he quickly runs out of the shower and cover himself. Robles informs Delfina and Fulgencio that Ursula is a murdered, she killed Zully, Fulgencio tells him she was influenced by Hernan. Ursula meets Hernan, he keeps talking about his obsession for Marina, he asks her to help him and she agrees, Ursula moves to a hotel, she is all happy that her new life with Hernan will soon start, Esthercita sneaks into Marina’s house, she opens the first door and sees Mercedes sleeping with little Mercedes, she goes into another room and sees Michel all by himself and takes him, Esthercita brings Michel to Delfina’s house, Delfina tries to take the child away from away in the struggle some gold coin falls on the ground.
Delfina realizes that Esthercita stole them from her safe, Marina calls Damian to informs him about Michel disappearance, Delfina and Esthercita struggle again, Delfina falls and hit her head, Esthercita takes Michel to an uncompleted building, a kid notices her and runs off, Damian comes to Delfina’s house and sees her lying on the floor she begs him to find Esthercita, the kid runs into Marina and tells her about Esthercita, Marina quickly rushes it there and see Esthercita standing at the top of the building, the kid sees Damian and tells him where Esthercita is, Marina get closer to Esthercita and tries to calm her down, Marina manages to take the child away from her, and tries to leave, Esthercita threatens to kill herself, she goes to the edges of the building, Damian shows up and tries to make her reason, but she is too drunk to reason, she apologizes and confesses to him that Michel is Ernesto’s son and jumps from the building.
