Doris visits Yvonne at home and offers to help her financially to have her own business. She takes advantage to convince Yvonne to give it a try and fix her relationship with her Victor. She reminds Yvonne that she always wanted her family back. Yvonne tells her she can’t give her an answer now. She is going through a lot of things at the moment. Doris tells her she understands and she promises to respect whether decision she makes. However, her wish is to see them become a happy family once again. Victor informs his Gary about his intention to file for an annulment with Janine. Gary tells him he spoke to Doris and they are aware of what he and Yvonne are going through. He asks Victor to also count on them if they need anything. Gary offers to help him with a lawyer but he asks Victor to promise him he will take full responsibility of his child with Janine. Victor assures him he will, he doesn’t want to be her husband anymore but he will always be her child father. Gary asks him how sure he is that Janine won’t try to take revenge on him. Gary assures him that when a woman is hurt, she is capable of doing thing that she herself never thought she could do. Victor tells him he doesn’t know but he is ready for whatever that will happen.
He can’t turn his back on Yvonne. Carla receives a call concerning Janine’s situation and quickly rushes to the hospital. Janine finally opens her eyes and gets to know she had a miscarriage. The doctor advises she get a complete bed rest until her body recovers physically. Yvonne and her mother try to convince Marlon to return home but he refuses. He tells them until Victor leave the house, he won’t return. He asks them not to worry about him, he can afford an apartment. Yvonne assures him Victor got his memory back. He chose her not Janine and even asks everyone for forgiveness. He tells her she should have waited for his annulment before accepting him back. She tells him he can believe her or not, she doesn’t mind but he should make their mother worry. He tells her he has decided to take their mother with him. He asks Yvonne to choose between her mother and victor who caused their father’s death. Mimi tries to convince him to change his mind but he takes it on her. He tells her not to worry anymore because he will soon be out of her house. His mother also tries to plead with him, not to think they are all against him.

She also advises Yvonne to talk to him calmly and explain the situation to him. Carla wakes up and realizes Janine isn’t in her bed. Janine comes to the nursery and asks the nurse to check on the list if her baby is there. The nurse does it and tells her baby isn’t here, Janine insists she looks through again. Carla sees her harassing the nurse and takes her to her room. The doctor informs them she is suffering from depression; she tells them it will continue for some time because she is in denial of her grief. Yvonne receives an anonymous present, she opens it and it is an empty bottle with a letter in it. She recalls when Albert introduces it to her and smiles. She opens and read, it is a goodbye note from him. He calls her and reminds her he told her to stop crying. He tells her he is leaving and assures her he will never forget her; he watches her cries from his car. The doctor informs Janine she is physically fit to be discharged; Carla offers to take care of her child burial.
Janine tells her there won’t be any burial, her child is alive, and orders them to bring her baby. Victor informs Yvonne about the conversation he had with Gary. He tells her he wants to make things right and have a complete family again with their son. She tells him if she was a different woman she would have been very happy to see him divorce his wife. But she is not, and reminds him they have already gone through the same situation once. He tells her till date, he can’t forgive himself for what he did to her but he is trying his best to make thing right. She wonders if it was better that their marriage was annulled before or it is best to have his marriage with Janine annulled. Victor tells her he loves her, he holds her hands and proposes they get married again. Janine comes home and Audrey runs to her asking if she is ok now. She tells her she needs rest and goes inside without even hugging her daughter. The little turns to Carla to find out if her mum is ok. Carla asks her to try and understand her mother; very soon she will know what happen. Janine finally accept that her baby is dead and had a burial, where she cries uncontrollably and makes some promises to him.
