Salma tells Veronica she is rather the scorpion for trying to destroy Virginia’s life. She is just like her father; Veronica tells her she doesn’t care about she thinks of her. Jorge enters on time to prevent another fight between them. Jorge requests Veronica informs Martin to join them for lunch but she turns him down. They are going on a trip to Cancun. Pablo assures his mother she doesn’t have to come with him for his therapy. Crescencio and his family have settled into their apartment in Mexico. Pablo uses Ana Perla ring a pendant, his mother wonders why he insists on wearing it. He tells her he misses her a lot and always dream about her. She suggests he tries to forget about her because her family will never forgive him. Eleazer shows up at Crescencio’s place with a bouquet of flowers for Ana Perla. Virginia wedding gown is ready but she refuses to show it to people. She wants to it to be a surprise for everyone especially Mariana. She hands over Mariana’s invitation to her, Mariana feels bad and cries. Veronica and Martin have fun at the beach in Cancun. Botel takes Magdalena out for dinner and informs her she is finally divorce from Aaron. She also hands over the DNA result to him and confirms that Veronica is indeed her daughter.
Claudia learns how to run the hotel. The judge informs Crescencio that by signing his power of attorney to Manuel. Manuel doesn’t even allow the judge to explain. Cresencio also asks the judge to include Manuel in his will. Manuel promise Cresencio to take care of the family. Cresencio informs the judge about his intention to also include Eleazer in his will to make sure Ana Perla future is secured. Manuel tries to convince him otherwise, but Cresencio has already made up his mind. Ana Perla and Pablo runs into each other, they stare at each other and smile. Crescencio calls for her and leaves without talking to Pablo. Eleazer serenade for Ana Perla, he shows up with another bouquet of flowers. At breakfast Salma and Virginia discuss about her wedding. Martin and Veronica are back from Cancun. she is wearing her V pendant necklace. She informs him that Emiliano and Virginia are getting married today. He wants to know if she will attend. she tells him she is not invited. Blanquita and Ana Perla visit them. Blanquita requests to talk to Martin. Veronica decides to leave with Ana Perla. Blanquita gives him the amulet from Nancyiaga to protect him from the danger ahead. She informs him that Nancyiaga says the white woman is not the bad woman.
Once alone with his wife, Martin kisses her passionately, Veronica wonders why. He tells her because he loves her and refers to her as his good woman. Emiliano surely doesn’t seem happy on his wedding day. Nicolas wonders if his behavior will have been the same if he were marrying Veronica. Pablo runs into Ana Perla again and tries to convince her. She refuses and informs him she is getting married to Eleazer. Martin watches the V Pendant necklace when Veronica walks on him. She wants to know where he got it from. Martin remain silent, she takes it from him and insists he tells her where he got it from. He finally confesses he got it from Demetrio. He tells her it belongs to the woman he was dating. Veronica tells him if so it means Demetrio was dating Virginia. Martin asks her how? Veronica recalls the argument Virginia and Demetrio had before he left. Virginia gets ready for her big day. Veronica insists Martin tells her how he got the necklace. He tells her from Demetrio. Nancyiaga gave it to him and told him it belongs to the Demetrio’s lover. Veronica gets angry and now understands why Nancyiaga always treated her badly. Martin doesn’t believe it is Virginia’s necklace. He reminds her he saw her takes Virginia’s necklace from her. Veronica admits but tells him it was hers, Virginia stole him from her. Martin still believe her, she asks him if he thinks she was Demetrio lover because of the necklace. Martin remains silent; she yells and asks him to say something. Martin tells her no, the necklace is not the only reason. He overheard Virginia telling her family about her lovers, including his brother Demetrio. Pablo tries to convince Ana Perla not to make a mistake and marry someone she doesn’t love. Veronica tells him she is offended that he prefers to believe Virginia instead of her. She swears that his brother was only her friend. Martin tells her he never thought Virginia will be capable of lying this way. Veronica asks him but he can believe she is capable of lying. She can’t believe he decided to believe Virginia lies and made life miserable for her without even trying to know the truth. She decides to go and confront Virginia but Martin holds her back.
He prefers they talk calmly but she refuses. She tells him she has nothing more to say to him. Veronica kicks Martin out of his own apartment then decides to go and confronts Virginia. She opens her door and sees Magdalena. Veronica tells her she has something very important to do. Magdalena hands over the DNA result to her. Veronica puts it on the table without even opening. Magdalena feels offended and tells her since she isn’t interested in knowing the result she prefers to leave. Veronica tells her she didn’t need a DNA to prove that she is her mother. Virginia brings out her box containing her memories with Demetrio. a picture of her and Demetrio fall on the fall but she doesn’t notices it. Matilde comes in without knocking; Virginia quickly put the papers back in the box. She reminds her she has already told her not to enter her room without knocking. Virginia covers the box and gives some instruction to Matilde before leaving the room. Matilde sees the box but doesn’t open it, and sees a picture on the floor. Julio walks on Pablo and Ana Perla. They end up fighting until the security show up and take them away.
Matilde opens the box and reads read the letter. She finally realized that Virginia had a relationship with Demetrio. She hears Virginia’s voice and covers the box. She hides the letter and pretends as if nothing happen. Emiliano informs Nicolas about what Veronica told him concerning Daniel and Virginia. He confesses to Nicolas that he doesn’t mind if he isn’t the first man in her life. She only made him remember the old Virginia, who will always lie and manipulate. Nicolas asks him if he feels this way, why does he insist on marrying her. Blanquita consoles Ana Perla, when Eleazer joins them and notices that she has been crying. Ana Perla confesses to him that she doesn’t love him. He thanks her for her sincerity but just like her he doesn’t have a choice but to marry her. The truth is he doesn’t mind because he feels she is a good woman. Manuel hides and listen to them. Matilde calls Veronica to inform her that Virginia was the one dating Demetrio. Veronica curses Virginia and tells Matilde she is nothing but a liar and a hypocrite. Matilde also tells her about the letter she read.
