Father Jeronimo goes to Severiano to inform him that his plan to destroy his reputation didn’t work. Severiano denies any knowledge of what the priest is saying but the priest assures him he does. Lulu keeps on begging Tomas not to jump and asks someone to look for Father Jeromino. She called Renato’s office, and informs the priest that Tomas is hanging on the bell. with the intention of committing suicide and begs him to come. Pato calls Silvia to inform her about Severiano whereabouts. Prudencia calls Valeria to inform her about the note she received from Tomas. Valeria tells her he is only trying to blackmail her and advises her not to go the church. Pato follows Severiano and his lawyer to the woman they pay to frame up the priest. Father Jeronimo goes to bell where Tomas is. He assures him it is not the way to solve his problem. Tomas removes his phone and call Prudencia but she refuses to pick up.
The old lady denies everything that the priest told Severiano. She assures them she told him exactly what they agree upon, because she memorizes it. She offers to recite it to them but the lawyer tells her it won’t be necessary. Severiano threatens her then leave. The priest still pleading with Tomas to listen to him. Tomas loses balance and almost fall but he quickly hold back to maintain his balance. Tomas’s parents join the crowd gathered at the scene. Prudencia tries to get more information about Tomas but doesn’t say it directly, so she send her house help to go around and sees if anything happen. Tomas, Renato and Silvia hide and watch Severiano and his lawyer leave. Silvia and Renato go to talk to woman while Pato and security guy stay behind. Pato tells him what he is supposed to do. Renato and Silvia burst into the woman room and pretend to be police officers with a warrant to search her room. They tell her extortion is a crime and she can be sentence for at least 20 years and lie to her that Severiano confessed to their crime. Silva goes through the drawers and see Father Jeronimo and Adelina picture that Severiano gave to the woman. She gets scared and tells them she was paid by Severiano to frame the priest. Renato drags her through her window, Silvia tells her a police car and a taxi outside, and asks her which one she prefers to go in.
Valeria eavesdrops on Christobal and Valeria conservation. They carry Emmanuel to his room, and make him lie flat on the bed.
Prudencia asks Valeria if Christobal doesn’t suspect he is not the father of her child, she asks her mother to lower her voice and tells her from now on Christobal Mendoza is the father of her child. Veronica returns to Emmanuel’s room and asks him to pull down his trouser so she can apply the cream on his back. He refuses thinking she is Don Antonio’s wife, she playfully hits him and tells him he is her uncle. Emmanuel smiles then quickly pulls his trouser down. Valeria asks the doctor not to inform her father about her pregnancy. Christobal meets with Aldonza at the station, as they agreed, he tries to tell Aldonza about Valeria’s pregnancy, when Valeria shows up and interrupts him. Aldonza asks him what is going on; Valeria asks Christobal is he told Aldonza she is expecting his child and smile. Severiano and his lawyer open the woman’s room and sees Father Jeronimo sitting in the dark waiting for them. The priest hands over the woman he paid the woman and reminds him he lost once again, Severiano hits his hand and points his gun at the priest’s head. Christobal tries to explain things to Aldonza but she refuses. Renato and Severiano’s lawyer try to convince him to put down his gun but the priest dares him to shoot.
