Candy presents her show at the saloon and it is very successful, everyone likes it. Mercedes tells damian that six months have passed and now finally the appeal of his sentence is ready, but fulgencio is still doing everything possible to stop it. Claudio tells damian that finally he will have his trial but he responds that he does not want to have wishful thoughts, because even they have made everything to prove his innocence nothing will assure him his freedom. Toribio tells marcelino that he does not like to work under these conditions anymore with fulgencio as a chief of town, that they should call for elections to have a legal municipal president, marcelino tells him that he listened a conversation between fulgencio and hernan that gave him goose bumps.
Hernan Proposes marriage to marina and beatriz who is very happy, tells her that she made the best decision of her life. Fulgencio furious tells hernan that damian is free and came back to town and even nothing involves them in the explosion where esthercita died, he (hernan) is in trouble because marina could fall again in damian’s arms, hernan tells him that this will not happen because very soon they will get married. Fulgencio mocking responds that he will not be so sure. Marina is surprised to see damian, he tells her that they need to talk but she says in some other time.
Marina tells hernan that she saw damian and that he wants to speak with her that she is very confused and she wants to cancel the engagement party. Hernan tries to convince her not to cancel the party and tells her that he is sure that she does not love damian and that she will be happy with him. Commander robles dressed as a beggar approaches lazaro and tells him that he will keep on with the investigation and leaves him clear that he already accepted that jazmin is not for him so he must not worry about that. Hernan tells damian that he is going to marry marina and he does not want him to bother her or hurt her every again.
Damian tells him that it was not his intention to hurt her and that he broke up with her for love. Rebeca tells marina to listen damian because he has many things to tell her, that she has to know the truth but he is the only one who can tell it. Ursula tells damián that he has to go to candy’s bar because she sings and dances there and she will make a show just for him.
